The duration of the course is four years which deals with maintenance & design of structure such as bridges, canals, waterways/sewage systems etc. Topics such as Engineering mechanics & graphics, strength of materials, fluid materials, engineering geology, design of Hydraulic structures, town planning & architecture etc.

Companies that visits our college every year are TATA housing, Jaypee Group, Hindustan construction, Gammon India, Larsen & Toubro etc for the roles of Business analyst, Architect, Technical officer, Civil Engineer, Assistant executive engineer etc. The highest salary offered was 2 lpm for the post of business consultant in TATA housing and the average offered was 40,000 per month. The students have to look for the internships themselves.

The tuition fees for one semester is 14,610 and the total for one year is 29,220. The fees structure is reasonable as the course is itself expensive in many other universities of the country. The grand total for four years is 1.17 Lakhs.

College labs are well equipped and clean with latest technology. Sports such as table tennis, football, volleyball, cricket, basketball, badminton, chess etc are played by both the boys and girls in teams to build their mental & physical fitness. Seminars on construction engineering and their related concepts are held every month. Activities such as drama, reading, debates, dancing, pottery making, book exhibitions, blood donation camps, singing etc are organised by the student council to maintain engagement with the students.

The students should have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks in the previous examination. 45% in case of the reserved category. Other than that they are also given % seats reservation. Other exams accepted are Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions (TNEA) which is conducted by the Anna University. The admission process will be done on the rank obtained followed by a counselling session.

The teachers are highly qualified in their subjects which relate to drawing & design of RC structures, building maintenance, marine & coastal engineering, construction management etc. Assignments are regularly given to us to test our knowledge in the subject. We are taught with a innovative approach with critical thinking ability so that we can use them for our future prospects.
