Remarks

In the process of coming up to the expectations of their students, the university needs to still improve in various spheres especially beginning with uploading all the information on the official website.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

while there is no information on the official website about the syllabus taught in my course, I had to get in touch with the administration center to get all the details about the curriculum. Then, after joining the university, the professors shared the curriculum. The syllabus is structured and has all the key subjects to be taught under the course.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell exists within the college premises but, it needs to work a little more harder as generally, only one or two companies come for recruitment process for maximum courses. Only two to three students are selected whereas 20+ applicants apply for the job.

College Events

2.5

The college takes charge of celebrating events such as Yoga Day, Republic Day, Sports week, Blood donation camp etc. Though, the participation is not disappointing as many students turn up for the events organised by the university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees per year amounts to Rs. 18,000/-. In totality, the fees for all the years would come down to Rs. 54,000/-. I personally found the fees to be reasonable. I was expecting the fees to be nothing less than Rs. 20,000/- as it is a private university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university provided scholarship schemes for students belonging to reserved classes which are the SC/ST and OBC category. The student would have to apply for the scheme during the admission process.

Campus Life

4

The university is working on forming a systematic orientation of their academic schedule. They are yet to introduce extra curricular activities in the college in which students can enroll in. The university has just managed to get hold of conducting events on particular dates.

Admission

I had taken up admission in B.Com Honours course. For the admission process, it was mandatory to have passed 10+2 in all subjects for all categories. I had got 80% as my board result so, admission was assured.

Faculty

3.5

As the university is newly established, they are still in search of professors. For my course, I had only two to three professors repeatedly for the year but, as the university is earning a good word for itself, professors are applying in the vacant positions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be exact, the curriculum has to be improvised and structured properly for real-world needs. The structure is outdated, and the pattern is too. The industry-based learning is not being promoted at all, as per my observation. The timing for exams is not frequent, but the paper structure is the same as the old so very outdated for a growing economy like ours.

I have interest in biology so I chose biotechnology as my career option the demand of biotech expert are also increasing so I thought to choose this course. More experimental methods should be used for teaching more no. Of practicals should be done. Semester wise exams are taken 2 end semester exam in a year and 2 internal examination in every semester. The difficulty level of the examination is moderate.
