Course Curriculum Overview
It is a five year long course and the last semester is for the interns that is the internship year which is performed at the college?s hospital. The first two years and mainly focused on theoretical work rather than the practicality and later we work on the practical more than the theory. The curriculum is highly demanding and requires a lot of hard work, we have to take internal and external every semester along with the practical.
Placement Experience
All of the students used to get placed if you wanted to practise medical. Since it was a professional degree various well-known hospitals and institutes came to interview including heart and liver Institute, AIIMS. Students used to get enrolled in the college?s hospital via the interview and an entrance examination conducted by the college. The average package was Rs.8 to 10 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The first Fee was around Rs.21,000 approximately. It could be submitted by the off-line mode of payment as demand draft or or online payment like the card payments. The total cost fee was not more than four lakhs. It did not include the hostel or the travelling.
Campus Life
The college was beautifully constructed and had big playground where we could play sports and activities like cricket, football, badminton. Extra co-curricular activities like music, dance, theatre, fitness club were organised by the students who came from different backgrounds. The laboratories and libraries were fully equipped with all the facilities. The campus was overall very friendly.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of common entrance examinations conducted by the medical council known as NEET. I applied to this college through their official website where the application form was available and filled in my details. The campus called me for the counselling session and I was enrolled for the MBBS course based on my entrance examination marks.
Faculty
All of the teachers were very well qualified and I had different degrees in respective fields. They were all well-known doctors, very humble by nature and helpful. They guided us throughout the curriculum. My anatomy teacher was the most helpful one to me she guided me and shared her experiences and enabled me to become a doctor I am today.
