Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is hectic and vast in MBBS. The course curriculum is the same as mandated by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The total duration of the course is 5.5 years, including one year of internship. There are total nine semesters in this course duration. Each semester has theory and practical papers.
Placement Experience
Like engineering colleges, companies or big hospital brands don't come here for campus recruitment. But once you have graduated from the college, you would find jobs with handsome salary. The aspiring doctors also get a one-year internship, as a part of the course curriculum. However, a stipend is not guaranteed to the students. But you will gain a lot of experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee that the college charges is not expensive. It is similar to the prescribed fee structure by the government. At the time of your admission, you will have to pay a sum of Rs. 1 lac rupees. And the same amount you need to pay for the remaining years. The total amount for your entire MBBS course will sum up to Rs. 5 lacs (approximately)
Campus Life
There is a decent boy to girl ratio, and there is no discrimination regarding any sex, caste, religion, race, etc. Students from various ethnicity and cultural backgrounds study here. The campus life is good. Each year numerous events are held where you can participate and showcase your skills in fields like painting, drama, dancing, sports, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors share a healthy term with the juniors. If you need any kind of help, you can always get them beside you. You can also get their guidance in your studies to upgrade your concepts. The alumni network is also quite big, they come once a year in the college to meet and share their valuable advice with the students.
Admission
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your class 12 final board exam is required, along with a rank in NEET UG. If you have got both then you will be called for counselling. Note that the counselling is totally based on merit.
Faculty
The professors in the college are highly educated and experienced persons. They know exactly how to explain things in a simpler manner to the students. Most of them are doctors and are involved in medical work, besides teaching. So, you can get to learn a lot from their experience and knowledge.
