The curriculum of the MBA course at Periyar University, Salem is wholesome and prepares a student for everything that comes along their way. The examination structure is also easy going and not too tough to manage.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of the college are commendable. Amazon, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Sail, MRF, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan are few of the companies that visit the campus to hire students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for pursuing MBA at Periyar University, Salem is ?41,590 for the complete two year long course. It is indeed feasible and justified as the quality of education imparted at this university is par excellence.

Campus Life

To make the college lives of the students fun and also to enable them to concoct splendid memories many extracurricular activities are organised. These activities include cultural evenings, fests, trips etcetera.

Right after graduation, I got placed so couldn't continue with my masters but now I decided to resume it so therefore I'm pursuing MBA from Periyar University, Salem. The admission procedure is simple as it is based on the scores of the MAT entrance exam.

The teaching staff of the college is skilled, driven and highly experienced. They are literally reservoirs of knowledge and there is nothing that one cannot learn from them. I feel blessed that I could learn under them.

Life in HIMT

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.
