Entrance Preview
I took IP University entrance exam for MCA. My rank was somewhere around 225. The best college i could get for this rank was BVICAM only. After my graduation in Physics, I wanted to do Majors in Computer Applications. I always had the eye and inclination for this field. Software Engineering, coding,logic,Automata interested me.
Internships Opportunities
In the last semester, various companies came. Not all of them offered internships. Some of them offered internships also apart from job.Companies like HCL Technologies, TCS, information mosaic, Aricent, Infogain, Nagarro etc came. It was a combined placement drive for MCA and BVICOE BTECH students.Average Stipend offered was 8-10k.
Placement Experience
Amost all the students were placed before the last semester. Maximum package offered was of 6.5LPA in a Bangalore based Data-warehousing company. HCL offered 3.25 LPA, Information-mosaic 4LPA, Nagarro 3.5LPA, Infogain 3.5LPA, TCS 3.5LPA, Aricent 3.5LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was around 70-80k per semester at that time. In case of students selected through Management quota it was even higher. They have to give some Lakhs extra at the time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no scholarship offered as such or may be i am not aware of any such thing. You can contact college administration for this.I took education loan at my personal level.
Campus Life
It was a memorable experience. The festivals, the fun, the exposure,education, labs ,practical experience every event in totality.There was no sports thing as such. We hardly get any time for this.But we could always go and volunteer. There was music competitions also.
Exam Structure
No, it used to be hectic most of the times. Exams followed by labs and assignments. Exams were subjective and very few were objective type.Labs marks was also given a considerable weightage.
