Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is vast and covers almost every aspect of medicine. Its primary focus is on the practicality and knowledge of a student and not so much on the theoretical part. This is the main reason why I chose this college.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of this university is commendable. They collaborate with so many companies who happen to visit the campus and offer students stellar packages and a promising future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for a five and a half year post graduation course is extremely feasible and affordable for both the student and their parents. It costs around ?5.25 lakhs for the entire course which in my opinion is value for money.

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities being organised throughout the year by the college to rejuvenate students and make them feel light and relieved for a while. Such little acts by the college matter a lot.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis of the college are too good to be true. They never fail to attend any alumni meet or any other event happening in the college. Besides this, they are very helpful and they have given several great pieces of advice.

Admission

After completing my schooling, I began searching for colleges that offer MBBS and after a thorough research I found Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, Port Blair and I've to say that this is the best college so far.

The faculty of the college is astounding. It is a group of highly professional and qualified teachers who are always willing to go beyond their means to help us and make us learn something new. They are the best teachers I could've asked for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum puts a lot of attention on practical approach of the subject and how the theory may be used in real-life situations, hence preparing the students to become good doctors in the future According to the difficulty of the exams, they have more than adequate amount of time between them to allow the student to appear in the exam well-prepared.

There are various courses offered.So for admission in UG courses NEET UG rank becomes the basis and for PG courses ,it is through NEET PG rank followed by counselling rounds. I have chosen this college because it is fully government and the fees is very affordable.For admission in this college the score should be a minimum of 550.

As the college is in my home town and provides good facilities for education i chose this college. Better faculty members and study environment. The admission process was not tiresome and got completed in few steps. Website was given where we could fill the admission form which gave plenty of time limit to submit it. The only bad aspect of college is less clinical exposure as the college resides in the islands less population which turns out only limited amount of cases we get exposed to.
