Entrance Preview

CET (common entrance test), i opted KIET because that was best college for electrical and eletronic engg .

Internships Opportunities

BHEL came for the campus selection and the stipend was 8k month, even GE came but i dint get through. I opted BHEl to work for.I also heard few other small companies came for campus selection but i did not attend those.

College Events

4

They celebrate may events includes college day, annual day, diwali and other festivals, sports day twice a year. Even they plan for excursions and educational tours which i very informative.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any of such facilities but my college mates did. They offer scholarship and even loan facilities for the people who cant afford. They had good option for that. they even had EMI for that.

Campus Life

4

We had ratio of 80:20 because of electrical field not many girls opt for it otherwise you see equal no of boys and girls in other department. We had lot of extracurricular activities like quiz, debate, demonstration, project works and many more which was very much interesting and learning to. Sports competitions were also good, we had sports day twice a year, competitions were held for both boys and girls like cricket, badminton, tennis and few indoor games to.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very organized. We had our exam center in our own college so we dint have to go to a different college. But the invigilators were from different college and they were very strict so no way for Mal-practise.

Faculty

4

Faculty was the best i can say, they very helpful. Even the facilities were good. They has library, games room and many more. They brought seriousness in students.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
