Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was spread over two years, giving us interesting subjects along the way. We had regular class tests to assess our knowledge. Exams were fairly conducted and papers were checked without any bias.

Placement Experience

The job opportunities were looking bright for us, all of us. We were being trained in the last semester for working in companies or pursuing another competitive exams/course. We all got good jobs placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was simple and affordable. We had to pay around ?2,600 in a year. The total fees that we had to pay was between ?5,000 to ?5,300. It was pretty feasible, compared to other colleges of the same level.

Campus Life

We had different events lined up throughout each year. A lot of us took part in singing, dancing, and other activities. Certain voluntary student societies/clubs were present. Sports were encouraged among us.

Admission

The admission process was merit-based, followed by an interview at the college. I had completed my B.Com degree from here, thus decided to continue Master's from here only. My name appeared in the first merit list, then I gave the interview and got admission here.

Faculty

The faculty members were adequately qualified and interested in teaching their respective subjects to us. They used PPTs, simple examples, other books to transfer the difficult concepts to us in the easiest way.

A good starting opportunity of my career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally feel interested in the course BCA and learning the data analysis, first I used to explore many career options but when I started exploring the Data Analysis, I was totally into it and love learning the things related to analysis, that is how I thought of doing my bachelor in computer application with the specialization of Data Analysis and Machine Learning. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. Placement Experience:

After six semester one becomes eligible for the placements. The number of companies visited is not clear. The highest package is 89 LPA and avg is 12 . Last year due to recession I think placement is 70-80%

Fourth-year students are eligible to appear in campus placements. Companies who visit NIFT for campus placement are Titan, Boat, Blackberry, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance retails, FabIndia, etc Last year's highest package was 22 lpa offered to a student from the Fashion Communication department. The average package would go around 4.5 lpa. The percentage of students getting placement would be 90% My plan after getting the degree is to spend at least 2-3 years in the industry after getting a good company to work with.

Remarks:

College is very good at studies. The teachers are really responsible. The hostels are not provided. Also my college do have its own building. But yes the bus is provided for nearby students which really helps in transportation which compromise the unavailable of hostel.
