Course Curriculum Overview
AISSMS adheres to scientific methods to design its course structure along with know how of curriculum followed in other medical colleges as well.Since I opted for four year B.Pharm degree course, the institute claims Rs 6 lakhs as the course fee which includes tution fee along with hostel charges, library facilities as well other charges. The institute provides state of the art infrastructure for their courses along with top class faculties and labs equipped with modern scientific instruments.
Placement Experience
AISSMS College of Pharmacy has separate wing for placement assistance, which is supervised and monitored by the principal of the college. The institute has tie up with various private medical colleges as well as clinics for absorption of their students and for internship as well. The college has in house internship facility which is conducted by faculties of the institute and other industry experts.
College Events
The college is a fun place to be along with imparting the right medical education where activities, including the sports week is held every year generally during the month of December; as well as the college gathering, an event that is held once every two years. While the sports week includes outdoor and indoor games such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, chess, carrom, table tennis, badminton etc ., the college gathering includes various events such as drama, dance, singing, scientific model making, personality contest and orchestra.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I being a student of B.Pharm we were charged a total fee of Rs 6 lakhs for the course duration of four years.On the other hand M.Pharm is a 2 year full time course with the course fee amounting to Rs 4.5 lakhs and the fee structure is as per approved by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti (Fee Fixation Committee) appointed by the Government of Maharashtra.
Campus Life
The institute provides state of the art infrastructure in the labs which are equipped with modern instruments and the right lab attendant vs student ratio thus making practical classes a place of fun for the students.
Admission
Being a resident of Pune for the past 20 years, AISSMS College of Pharmacy is a renowned name in the field of medical education.AISSMS was established in the year 1996 with the approval of AICTE, PCI, and Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliated to Pune University and is located right in the heart of the city, i.e., RTO Office, Shivajinagar.The admission to B.Pharm course consist of 10+2 with 50% + MHT CET. Since I have always been a descent student with 80% marks in 10+2 it was easy for me to crack the MHT CET and got admission to the four year B.Pharm degree program offered by this institute.
Faculty
Faculties at AISSMS College of Pharmacy are sound in their technical knowledge along with right degree for teaching respective courses.Most of the faculties at the institute of PhD with few of them having post doc experience as well.Mostly the faculties are attached to international journals for publishing their research papers and many of them are NET qualified as well.
