MBA has a wide scope. Before you start, you should choose a good college/university to pursue an MBA. Because there are a lot of colleges running for money and they teach only what's written in the book, MBA is much beyond that. Now let's look at the scope you will have after the MBA. You will have various domains like Marketing, Finance, HR, Information Systems, Operations, etc. However, if you want other fields like MBA in Travel and Tourism Management etc are also available. Based on your interest, you can choose one domain that best suits you. If you are going into the Marketing domain, it's better to learn Digital Marketing as traditional Marketing is getting outdated. But Marketing concepts remain the same. So, remember to choose the best college and a domain, which you are really interested. You can also work in many other management roles such as Business Development, Management consulting, etc. Data Analysis and Digital Marketing are the trending fields now.

The faculty is particularly good some of them being one of the best across India in their department. Other than curriculum the extra curriculum is what one looks for. various events lined up the whole year, you are bound to enjoy your college days.

It depends on you how much you involve and explores opportunities no department or college will suggest internships so for that you can follow up with placement cells of different colleges and also can check Internshala.

The area around Chetan has improved a lot. I never heard anything happen to my batch mates but ya there is always a risk because the college is surrounded by industries and you can imagine the labor class working there. But the conditions have improved a lot as our seniors used to tell us. And it is totally safe for girls inside the campus we have a lot of security from hostels to all around the perimeter of the college. The hostels are quite good neat and clean. The internet facility is quite good in hostels every student gets an individual LAN port and the whole campus has a Wi-Fi facility so do not take tension for the internet.

Well, the GD topic was Social media Advantages & Disadvantages. I didn't speak too much maybe three or four lines. I still am not comfortable in debates and speeches. Not my cup of tea. I prefer one discussion So the chance was still there for me in PI, PI was taken by Sh. Sireesh Thakur an IIM C Alumnus and Late Prof. K Balakrishnan IIM A Alumnus and Dean of Goa Institute of Management. It started with general info about me and my family then they asked my views on Social Media which I told them in detail few really good points too on which they said that why didn't I speak this during GD on which I told them about not being comfortable to speak in Public. Further questions was on my graduation and hometown and then since I was working that time in ACC Ltd so was asked about work. It felt positive and they wished me luck and asked to send the other candidate.
