Entrance Preview
There was no entrace exam for the college. I happen to enroll for BBM for its second batch since inception. The coaching and office was initially at its Jayanagar office.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was as prescribed by Bangalore university. The course was for 3 years divided over 3 years ( not semester scheme) . The electives were in Finance, Marketing, International Business, HR . The electives were only for last year, about 3 subjects. The student had to do a project on the field for specialization selected.
Internships Opportunities
Good experience. I did it with a company in software sector. The student is expected to find his company for internship himself. Although there was stipend.
Placement Experience
No placements or campus was available. I perused CA and later a CPA( USA) which i successfully passed by putting an adequate efforts.
College Events
No events. Basic facilities were not available. The management was least bothered about the plight of the students. Standards were abysmal. The three years were major setback for me personally. I yearned for good faculty. Spend enermous amount of time at the library, studying all by myself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Donation was expensive. In 1996, They charged about Rs 40,000 was donation. Around Rs 10 -15 K annually for each year. I did not see the value for the money my parents spent. The library was decent but apart from that there was hardly any student related facilities or activities at the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
None. The college was being run back then for maximum profit minimum service/ facilities. There was very little concern for students. Half of the students were from Bangladesh and a few from Nepal and Srilanka. They were least bothered and non-serious about their careers.
Exam Structure
Only one exam prior to annual exams as prescribed by the Bangalore university. No other exams or efforts at college was held. So fairly chilled out environment at the college. The annual exams helped us to know where we care. It was more of preparatory exam.
Faculty
The standards and faculty was extremely poor. There were scant faculties and poor infrastructure. He has held demonstration demanding that faculties be employed. The faculties who were available were of very poor capabilities. They were unclear themselves on their roles( except one, who later resigned and shifted to a different college). It seemed like they the management inspite of taking a heavy donation from us was not spending on deploying the right faculty and infrastructure.
