Remarks

The college is one of the best private dental colleges in the East zone. The infrastructure is top notch and the practical labs are very well maintained and supplied. The social and hostel life is just fantastic. However the fees might be a bit too high for middle class students and the location might be a bit bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum in first year is mainly divided into 4 subjects, out of which 3 are MBBS based and 1 is BDS based. The MBBS based subjects are Anatomy, biochemistry and physiology. And the BDS subject is Dental Anatomy. The exams are held in different sets- theory, practical and viva.

Placement Experience

5

Since we are pursuing a medical course, placement is guaranteed. But the college makes its students undergo a 1 year compulsory internship for practice.

College Events

4

There are several religious and cultural events celebrated in our college. They organize events for Diwali, Christmas, Pujas and other festivals. However the main annual function of the college is the prestigious KIIT Fest, where more than thousand students of KIIT participate and witness the extravaganza.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is divided into five lakh 50 thousand for tuition fees. Then one lakh 35 thousand for hostel fees and another 40 thousand mess fees. Other than that you have to pay 75 thousand as an admission fees which is one time. This is an annual cost breakup.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their is no facility for scholarship as admission is based on the All India rank secured by the candidate in NEET Exam. However they allow you to pay the fees in installments with 6 months gap.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is slightly inclined towards the feminine gender. The ratio is approximately 5:8. The college includes 5 cultural societies in form of sports, dance, music, arts and drama. The societies are very active in conducting several events in our college. There is absolutely no bias on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, economic status or other factors.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. The hostel rooms are quite spacious, with two beds provided in each room. Individual bathrooms are provided in each room. There are enough hostels available, and therefore no need to apply for PG.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are extremely helpful. They are super friendly and will help you in times of need. They will also act as a mentor to you and guide you through your initial college days.

Admission

I got admission in this college through the NEET Exam held all over India. The reasons for choosing this course and this institution, are mainly the financial security, comparatively less risky surgery and the infrastructure of the college. And also it's location, nearby my hometown.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is top-notch. The dental professors are amazing and highly qualified with ample experience in the teaching area. However the medical professors are more into clinical practice rather than teaching, and therefore they may be a bit hard to communicate.

BDS include 4 yrs of curriculum and 1 year compulsory internship. This college prepares us well to face every ups and downs in life. I think more self study time should be given to the students and the college timing should be reduced.

Doctors are eligible int he fifth year as many private hospitals and private clinics are the ones who needs freshers regularly. The opportunity that is brings is just a couple of years of practice under someone and then you can officially open your clinic as well and that's my plan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is like if you study dentistry then you are not a dental doctor rather you can also diagnose diseases. The curriculum provides you with much more hand practice and thus you can do any other things which you need in daily chores As far real-world applications are, a dentist can easily do any work bcoz unlike MBBS it focuses on your hand practice like wire straightening and POP mixing and making from moulds Difficulty level of exams is normal, frequency each after 3 months

BDS will be a wonderful course of u are completely into it . Because it's much more than study human biology. It is very important to understand all the practicals and clinical aspects. After completing graduation you can open your clinic or get a govt job by applying state PSC exams. But the govt should give more placements in govt sector. From 2023 we have 3 internals and 1 main university exam.
