My experience in SCB dental College, Almost good except the job part!

Once a year there are board exams. There are total 4 board exams in the course. Also there are 4 internal exams before each board exam. Difficulty is moderate for the theory exams but the viva part is really scary.

Internship is done in the college itself. House surgeon is the role of an intern and He can do most of the clinical work. By this he gets prepared for setting up own clinic or government job like PSC exams.

There is one year of internship facility in the same college by after completion of 4 year long course. The stipend is around 42000 per month for 1 year. In most departments the work load is not much.

Yes! There are many societies which keep the students engaged since 1st year of college. These include cultural, art, drama , litrature, academic society and much more. In 4th year , students form a union and control the college affairs.

Hostel fees per year is 8000rs. For boys the hostel facility and the food in the mess is excellent. But for girls hostel room numbers are short. Also the food in girls hostel is relatively expensive and repetitive.

There's no improvement necessary. The college takes students based on the merit from NEET UG. The process is completely controlled by government and not by the college. So there's no suggestion that the college can actually implement.

All the time! Teachers are really strict here in terms of code of conduct and discipline. But they stay ready for any doubt clearing or helping the student. If you are willing to know anything, they will be more than happy to help.
