Remarks

According to me, this college is 30% good, 70% bad. Good is all about annual function, good seniors, restaurant and shops in campus and a few good faculties. Bad is about hostel, canteen, food, freedom of girls, fine taken by teachers, extra strict teachers, too much pressure for attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

BDS is a course of 4 years academics and 1 year compulsory internship. We need to study 3 subjects each in first 3 years and 8 subject in 4th year. There will be two internal exams, one in jan-feb one in june. And university final exam in aug-sept generally.

Placement Experience

3

Medical colleges and dental colleges are professional fields. Nobody stays jobless. Many job opportunities like clinics, hospitals, govt jobs etc are available. One year compulsory internship to be done for completing graduation.

College Events

2

Annual function named as CUSP occurs in dec-jan time. Sports day of 7-8 days occurs after that 3 days of function and dinner and full night dj and dance occurs. You'll have to pay rs2000 for CUSP. These 3 days will be the best day of college in a year. Freshers occurs in the 1st day of CUSP.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I got admission, it was 2.5 lakhs per year for tuition fee. Hostel charges for ac/non ac were different, transportation charge, cultural fee, examination fee, locker fee, ppwd fee are different. Overall it's quite expensive. You have to buy various dental kits and books which are costly. You also have to save money for fine if it is imposed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to some students based on certain criteria named as madhubrity. Scholarship amount is of 10,000. Loan is to be taken through bank i.e student loan. I'm studying through student loan.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities like singing, rangoli competition keeps occuring in various seminars and functions. Sports day occurs during annual function. Labs are in good condition. We have many practical classes.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel rooms are clumsy, very small, only one small window with 3 beds. Current goes off specially during exams or if little amount of rain takes place. Girls hostel is like jail without any freedom and movement restrictions after 6pm even inside the campus. Hostel canteen is at about 400-500 meters on the 3rd floor of another building. Food quality is like those given to patients. You will surely loose weight by walking so much climbing buildings and eating those food. Good luck.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful and friendly. No ragging ever happened as this is a ragging free campus. Seniors help us in academics, practicals, extra curricular activities, etc. Seniors even help us by sharing books and instruments during exams. They give us idea about how to study.

Admission

National eligibility cum entrance test is all India medical entrance. One has to qualify in this to get admission. Students are choosen according to rank in OJEE councelling process. One can also get admission through donation but he/she needs to qualify in NEET. I got admission by qualifying in NEET.

Faculty

2.5

Overall faculties are very strict but supportive. Highly qualified and post graduate faculties teaches us. Some of them are very friendly and kind and understanding. Some are very strict in case of academics, discipline. They may even take huge fine from students if proper discipline is not maintained.

BDS include 4 yrs of curriculum and 1 year compulsory internship. This college prepares us well to face every ups and downs in life. I think more self study time should be given to the students and the college timing should be reduced.

Doctors are eligible int he fifth year as many private hospitals and private clinics are the ones who needs freshers regularly. The opportunity that is brings is just a couple of years of practice under someone and then you can officially open your clinic as well and that's my plan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is like if you study dentistry then you are not a dental doctor rather you can also diagnose diseases. The curriculum provides you with much more hand practice and thus you can do any other things which you need in daily chores As far real-world applications are, a dentist can easily do any work bcoz unlike MBBS it focuses on your hand practice like wire straightening and POP mixing and making from moulds Difficulty level of exams is normal, frequency each after 3 months

BDS will be a wonderful course of u are completely into it . Because it's much more than study human biology. It is very important to understand all the practicals and clinical aspects. After completing graduation you can open your clinic or get a govt job by applying state PSC exams. But the govt should give more placements in govt sector. From 2023 we have 3 internals and 1 main university exam.
