Remarks

Overall things are good. Management is good I didn't face any problem but students often face difficulties sometimes with respect to submitting exam forms etc as limited days are given.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

According to my course i. e bachelor's degree in science, my subjects are Industrial chemistry, Physics, Chemistry. The exam pattern is according to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. We have theory exam of 80 marks and 20 marks are internal so total 100 marks. And practical exam of 50 marks ( which contains submition of practical records, performance, assignments etc ). So total 150 marks for each subject. Yes, my curriculum was groomed to provide industry specific knowledge and also helpful for placements. Yes, industrial visits are conducted through out the year which are very helpful.

Placement Experience

3.5

I'm yet not completed my degree. Many companies such as TCS, icici banks, and many more visit to our college every year many students are being placed. As I haven't been completed my degree yet so I dont have so much information regarding this.

College Events

5

We have so many events, some of the big events are Teachers day, Traditional day, entrepreneur festival ( where students make there stalls, sells things just to experience how business is done, along with good food), Cultural day, JOSH ( most awaited and biggest annual day celebration which continues for two days, biggest opportunity for all students to participate and show their talent), Sports day. Etc These celebration are really big, institution makes all arrangements which are of high quality and it feel like attending some big events, best feeling ever.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my course is very feasible. My fee is around 7000 per yr as im general category students, for others it is even cheaper. Fee status changes from course to course, subjects to subjects. Eg. computer science student has to pay 15000 fee. So it changes.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't took any scholarships, or education loans but many students opted for it and they receive the scholarship as well as loans. By completing simple procedures as per govt rules.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good you can chill and spent your "college life " quite good. Also there are strict instructions to maintain discipline. Extra curricular activities have given alot of importance in our college. Lecturers support us to take part and encourage us. All students are treated equally. I think girls are more than boys. Many students are rich but many students are poor also, they are treated equally. Lecturers never judge anybody over these issues.

Hostel Facilities

4

No I didn't. But girls hostel is good if one has to stay. No problem. They have four, three, two, one sitter rooms available as per one's requirements. The fees are from 34000- 40000 annually. They have clean area, clean washrooms, cupboards, semi furnished rooms, quite easy to stay. They may have AC rooms available idk.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, senior students are helpful. They arranged programs to interact with us and they take us in everything dont corner us.

Admission

I purchased the brochure then looked for various subjects for graduation, then I find myself intrested in Industrial chemistry so, I applied. As I got good marks in HSC exam they gave me addmission directly. Addmissions are held according to merit lists also. They gave me a date if I wanted really to get admit. So, I went there on the given date and then completed few procedures, paid some amount of fee (As I didn't have to pay donations, and the institution allows us to pay half of the fee during the admition proceess. ) And then my professor gave me instructions to begin the college and thats it.

Faculty

4

We have about 9-10 lecturers for three subjects. I think its quiet enough. Some are seniors and some are new comers while some lecturers are of middle age. They mainly have qualified doctorate with respect to thier subjects, many lecturers have given net set examination. They make every possible effort to provide clear and concise details about the topics by using various methods like informative videos, visits, laboratory practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year
