Remarks

The college management is very money minded. They focus more on how to make more money and won't financially help in any events.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Architecture doesnt have placements but other course do. Yes the curriculum is not fully up to date but still better than many other colleges. We have frequent site visits and real world experiences. The faculty also conducts workshops by other professionals in the field.

Placement Experience

3.5

Since architecture doesnt have placements i unfortunately can't provide any relevant information on that. But the college has various joint workshops and seminars from big companies

College Events

3.5

The Freshers Event: for freshers Diwali Mela: celebration of Diwali with good stalls and other events. Annual Fest : many events are conducted my the various clubs in the College. Graduation Event: Farewells Event for our seniors passing out. And many events by the many clubs of the college.its mandatory for every club to have atleast one event in each semester

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for Barch is roughly 120000.There is transparency in the fee department. All types of payments are accepted by the college but Bank transfer is more welcomed since it's easier to confirm and keep track of. There aren't much additional fee unless and untill there are some improvements made to the infrastructure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships for me and I'm not aware of any such provided by the college. scholarships are probably availed through the university.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is almost equal, there are certain courses like civil which lack woman but other courses make up for it in number. The hostel is great but the mess food is not good at all. Student diversity is great, we have students from all over the country and some NRIs. Views in politics, sexual orientation are all well expressed through programmes held by the club's

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes. There are 3 types of capacity of students. Single rooms ,Double share rooms and triple share rooms. Every room has its own attached toilet and bath. Every floor has its own water dispenser. Every alternate floor has a TV room.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a whatsapp group with all the students since the beginning and these days there are webinars to help current students.

Admission

Applied to GGSIPU and was allotted this college. My friends dad was an architect , i was inspired by him. IPU is good University so since i was alloted the college, it was affliated. And for affiliation the college requires to keep a standard. Applied to the university with my documents and marks in various entrance exams and was choosen based on the performance of these test and then was alloted a college based on my merit.

Faculty

4

We have a decent faculty. 15 is the number of faculties. Average age should be in the mid to late 30s. Most are UG degree holders with some experience in their respective fields. Yes we have frequent site visits and some real world experience and workshops that the faculty organises.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my father is an foreman at a constrution site and he always shows me drawings of their site which motivate me to make this type of drawings so i choose Architecture. Some things should change is course curriculum as some subjects like structures should increase their credits bcoz of a more struggle to learn like architectural design. Their is good timing of exams but more days to take whole subjects. it took almost a month to complete 9 subjects exams.
