Remarks

I don't have any idea about my college when I was admitted. I searched Google and Collegedunia website for more such information. The college was so far well constructed and looks like a good atmosphere there. Also, the charge of the fee was lower than others so I picked this stuff for my undergraduate degree. The reason why I prefer to others was you will enjoy a lot more things there and if you don't have more money than you go to this college. Here you paid less and earned a lot. The admission used to go through online in Anna University portal. It usually happened in the month of August when the students of Tamil Nadu state board finished their higher secondary School. The main thing was you really enjoyed a lot at the time of cultural and events. There was more facility at a low cost. According to studies, this is the monster of it. The staffs were humble and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because it has more intention than others in future. The scope of electronics and communication engineering was increased day by day. Also, I like things related to electronics also communication. The faculty and student ratio was 20:1. There were enough faculty and staff there to teach you, people. They are kind and supportive also they are so friendly. Their method of teaching was very nice and it helps to understand engineering. It was so difficult to pass the examination because you used to study a subject in a whole year in school. When coming to college it was not like that, you must study and wrote exam in a period of three months.

Placement Experience

3

Completion of the 7th semester was the eligible boundary for placement. Here, not such companies are come and attend the placements only few 2 or more will come and offer 2 or 3 students. Others will go off-campus interview for their job opportunity. As possible we have reached a higher package of 2lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements was far less. Inappropriately only 30-40 percentage will attend their campus and in that only 10 percent will get placed. In that also 1 or two only get paid well. So in the view of the campus interview, this college won't suit you. But there were many others who got good jobs and settled by attending the off-campus interview. My plan after my undergraduate degree was going to my master program by crossing GATE exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were far low than any other institution in TamilNadu. Because it was a government own property the fees were much less. You have to pay an amount of 5000+ for your college fees and 7000+ for your hostel fees. And for food, you may pay a debt of 2000 each month. There was some special concession for some category people. There was an educational scholarship of RS 7000-20000 was credited into your account each year. You may take a loan to pay fee debts. There was no need of loan or anything because the fee was less. If you want loan then there was near a bank and so you can take there.

Campus Life

4

Tamil Mandram and Pongal celebration was the annual fest that was celebrated in our institution. In the view of tech fest, each department conducts its own technical symposium on the even semester of there curriculum. Also several other tech fests, events took place in a while during your college times. Availability of books and journals was pretty less than others. But here also you can find books which was related to your topics in such a manner it was nice. But in my point of view, I need much more than what was present. Sport and extracurricular activities used to happen every day. There was a national service scheme NSS and NCC and several other clubs were present in our college. GCE pic was the photography site maintained by students. Also many others sites and Instagram pages available.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yeah, my room contains a couple of table and chair with racks and 2 fans and 2 lights. There were 3 charging portals. Each room can accommodate 5-6 people. But there were 3 students in each room. Some contain 4 or more but our room contains 3 students. Meal quality was so good and made in a good way. There was no non-vegetarian in our hostel. Only vegetarian meals will be provided. If you want to eat non-vegetarian you can go to nearby hotels, there will be a couple of that. The registration of the hostel was done at the admission time at the same time you can avail rooms and register hostel. Some students rented rooms at the surroundings. It was not safe and so cost.

Other Applied Colleges

Kongu college of engineering and technology | Electronics and instrumentation engineering

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
