Once after completing counseling process we can join into the desired course respectively in the selected college. The course curriculum will be regulated by the corresponding affiliated UNIVERSITY. There will be two semesters in the first academic year and the second year will be consisting of Project which will be resulting into a successful completion of post graduation. In the first year first semester will be consisting of six subjects and in the second semester another six subjects. One should need to clear all the subjects in first year to get eligibility for second year. After completing first year in second year student should do a project based on the interest respectively with course taken. At the end of the year the panel reviews on the project will be done by the university professor's.

Well coming to the placements, Our KIET college will provide placement & job opportunities. Our teaching staff will motivate the students to do internships such that the student will experience the live environment of the industry. They will make us industry ready employee such that we are ready to take the job. They will train us for interviews and will conduct mock interview sessions. Such that the interview fear of students will be decreased and the student will confidently attend the interview

Our college will conduct so many activities every year. College management will conduct technical events for the students in order to exhibit the students innovative ideas, problem solving skills. Many of the cultural activities like Wing's, Sahasra cultural activities conducted every year. Robotic lab, bossmool lab ,workshops many more will be provided to students in order to brighten up students knowledge and interests

The fee structure of college is quite simple. The Andhra Pradesh government will decide the fixed price per year for students. Also the government will assures the students with fee reimbursement facility such that Government will pay fee to college on behalf of student,such that there will be no burden to poor and middle class students. At present government fixed a price of Rs.72000 per year for our college.

Many of the scholarship/loan facilities available at the college premises. Some government offered scholarship,some are NGO's offered scholarship,some will be Corporate company offered scholarships,some are competitive test based scholarships. Management will guide the students in getting scholarship for every eligible student.

At our KIET COLLEGE premises we have been provided with many extracurricular activities,labs and sports events. Labs like Robotics,bossmool lab, innovative hub. Sports like kabbadi, cricket,volley ball, basketball, batminton, Coco and many other indoor games like chess,carroms,pinball will be provided.

At our college there is program called Intraction at the beginning of the first year. The moto of this program is to get intracted with the senior students and make the juniors friendly to seniors. Such that juniors will take help of senior students in all the activities.

The process to get admission in Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) is through PGCET(Post Graduation Common Entrance Test) which will be conducted by AP GOVERNMENT every academic year. After successful completion of graduation,one should attend this PGCET entrance examination and should secure a good rank such that we can select the desired university/college by under going the counseling process after entrance examination
