Remarks

They've given good educational system to us. But failed to fulfill many of the people placements due to recession.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have studied more technical studies related to each subject that makes the college differ from other college syllabus. They've covered almost all the subjects in deep to know about the core technical studies. We have studied one subject (Black fin processor) in IIT, Chennai college since our college done MOU with IIT.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

CTS, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Infosys, Core related companies, etc, We have gone through multiple Industrial Visits during each semester. As well as we gone to Inplant training to multiple core company to gain knowledge about our subjects. During Inplant training, we went to NSIC company, it helps us to build microprocessor chips.

College Events

Inter College cultural, Seminars, Technical Exhibition, Sports & Related Activities, Quiz Competition, Festival Celebration, Technical Conference, Independence & Republic Day Celebration, Cultural events at Orphanage, Alumini Meet Function every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Little Expensive. Course fees, we have to pay when semester starts. We can pay half by one semester & another half by next semester. Incase, if we are not paying, they won't allow us to write exams. Also we have to pay separately for Exam fees apart from course fees. For recorrection or supplementary exam, additional costs are applicable.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for scholarship or educational loan, but our college gave scholarship for people who scored 95% & above in each department. Even they've helped for getting educational loans through our college.

Campus Life

Yes. We had a good college life around 4 years. Those are the best moments in our life. Gender ratio will be 60:40 of male & females. Extra curricular activities, Experiments in Labs, Activities in all Sports, Also we had Multiple classes for Robotics, etc,

Hostel Facilities

Nope. Am day scholar. I never went to hostel & the hostel rooms. According to my knowledge, shared by our friends that food won't be good. Even hostel warden will be strictly follow the rules & regulations.

Alumni/Alumna

We had good experience of interacting with our seniors from three years since we have joined from first year. They've communicated lot of things about how to carry out things in college, how to do cultural events, how to pursue yourself in placement and all. They're so helpful in all ways.

Admission

Good educational institution with high percentage of placements make me to join in this college. It takes one month to join in this college after all the application & formalities filled. As well as people who worked in that college referred me that the college is one of the famous college & also top 10 rankings in Anna University.

Faculty

We can access them easily in their department cell. In our college, we have access to meet faculties in their department cabinet. Also they will clear all our queries & doubts in subjects as well as technically. Some faculties teached us theoretical wise. Some faculties teached us practically.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota. I choosed this college because it got a great reputation and great record of placement. It also got a great infrastructure and facilities.
