We had a good time at the college and we were able to do good in our work life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is in line with the industry requirement. With this course acquired knowledge that has helped me grow in my professional career. First-year of the course is general for all the students and then in the second year the curriculum is driven by the specialization selected by the student. The Student and Placement cell got the companies to the campus for final placements.
Placement Experience
College helps students getting placed for Summer Internships and the majority of the students were able to secure internships with help from the college. For final placement also the companies were called by the institute and the majority of the students got placed from campus.
College Events
We had conducted events in association with UN where global delegates were part of the event. It was hosted at Taj Mahal Hotel Mumbai and was a 2 day affair. There were interesting sessions where not only students but also people from various industry joined for the learning. Annual cultural event were planned and executed by the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There were 3 types of seats 1. Free Seat - It was not very expensive 2. Paid Seat - Bit expensive almost double the free seat 3. Management Seat - The most expensive one Compared to the other similar institutes the fee structure was almost same. Most of the fee are defined by the central body so the only scope was in the management seat.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I did opt for a education loan from State Bank of India and we got it with the personal guarantee of my father.
Campus Life
Gender ration was about 70:30 M to F. There were few facilities that the college had for entertainment which includes recreation room, canteen, library and computer lab. Recreation room had Carrom and Table Tennis where most of the students use to spend the spare time. Canteen was good and had enough space and good food
Hostel Facilities
The institute was not offering any hostel facility and we have to arrange for our own accommodation. Few students stayed in PG and some opted for sharing with the classmates. I was staying with few of my friends and we shared a flat
Alumni/Alumna
The college has started the club recently in past few years. During our time it was not there and we didn't get much help.
Admission
By entrance exam CET and Counselling, Admission and session started in Aug 2002. Wanted to complete the PG in Marketing. The location of the institute in Mumbai was one of the key factors of selection. Entrance Exam, GD & PI, and then the option to choose the selection basis rank in CET.
Faculty
We had both on campus faculty and visiting faculty. On campus faculty was competent and did good job grooming the students. Visiting faculty brought experience that is required in the job and real world. The professors were able to help with the learning via theory and practical examples with case studies.
