About my college

Overall I would like to say that it is a good college if you are going to opt for the marketing domain. They have lots of opportunities for the students.

They have special classes for grooming the students. Corporate skill development and global business communication. These two classes helped me a lot in defeating my fear and nervousness, and talking about industrial visits, there were several conducted by the college and it was a good learning exposure for me like we visited Amul, Parle, etc.

The placements for the marketing field are quite good. Our placement season starts in the month of August just after the completion of our summer internship. Some of the regular recruiters are Colgate, HUL, Deloitte, Blackrock, TCS, E&Y, and many more. There are general steps that are followed by the company. 1. Aptitude test 2. Group Discussion 3. Interviews Almost all students get placed till the month of June next year and some choose to join their family business also. We had special preparatory sessions for every company which came to our campus, We discuss the previous year questions being asked in the interview.

We have several clubs for that like sports club, foodies club, finance club, IT club. The college conducts fest with the name of Spandan and a sports fest Spardha for showcasing the talent of students. The spandan fest is conducted in our college and the main event is conducted outside.

It was 8.5 lakhs for the 2-year course. There are several modes of payments which are accepted by the college like RTGS, NEFT, cheques. There is no scheme of additional charges for the admission of students. It is a transparent to give an entrance exam, then give interview.

I was not a scholarship holder. I opted for an education loan as the amount is quite huge to afford at a single time.

The gender ratio of Boys to Girls is - 1.5:1 We have freshers party, fests, farewell for students. There are several clubs in college for students for showcasing their talents. Several sports competition. We have a drama club. Here all students are focused on their careers so there is no politics.

I was up downing from my home as I live near to the college. But after 1 year I opted for the hostel because I had no time left for studies. NDIM has 3 hostels nearby to the college. All of them have good facilities, proper meals. It has both single and twin sharing.

The college conducts regular alumni session with the ongoing batch so that they can share their experience in the company and tell them how to prepare for the interview

PGDM has more practical exposure than MBA. I got to know about this college through a newspaper advertisement. Then I checked their placements record and the facilities they provide to the students. So I gave MAT exam and after scoring good percentile in that I gave an interview and got selected.

There are around 50 lecturers for PGDM. The average age is 30 years and all are minimum postgraduates. Most of them are phd degree holders. There are 4-5 lecturers who have phd in finance which helped me a lot in my whole 2-year career. There were also several certifications that were part of our curriculum, like of stock market, fundamental analysis, foreign exchange, etc.
