Remarks

The college had a reasonable fee structure and I was one of the decent students in my batch. Was likey to be placed in a good MNC in the starting of my career. The college helped in getting an interview with them and the rest was totally up to you. My only regret is it not being AICTE approved.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's not that research-driven, decent faculty. It's totally up to you how you mould yourself and develop yourself for placements. Students need to take ownership apart from faculty helping them. I have seen my classmates as well as myself who were good doing good in life as well as career.

Placement Experience

3.5

The companies were Saint Gobain, ITC, Cadbury, Parle G, Colgate, Asian Paints. Most of the big FMCG companies used pool campusing along with candidates of different college. It was mainly banking which was there and used to take a high number of students.

College Events

2.5

Cricket Tournaments, Quiz Competition, Freshers Party. It was not on large scale. The events compromised of different colleges. I was part of some quiz teams. I don't really think the college was that active in events. There were a few events which the student itself joined.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was around 4-4.5 lacs, I got a scholarship of 50k. The few were needed to paid semester wise, adequate bank support was given. No additional payment is required as everybody who applies gets admissions. The transparency of fees of college is there. You can deposit cheques or RTGS payment.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you had a good MAT or CAT score you would apply for a scholarship. I had a 50k scholarship and I think that was the max they gave. The scholarship would hover around 10k-50k depending on your merit. The scholarship helped me a lot in my fee deduction.

Campus Life

2

Campus Life is not that great as it was a rented floor in the hub of Kolkata. The didn't have their own campus. Student parties were there from time to time with the close groups. I had a few and memorable time. It was mainly male-dominated,80:20 ratio. Students were from mainly East and North India.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I didn't opt for the hostel, although they provide hostel facility. The food and stay are reasonable and is nearby to the college. It was kind of a mess with bathrooms for 3 to 4 individuals. The rentals were 4-5k for both food and stay and they were near metro stations.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't think there is such a strong alumni network. Although some are well placed in life now. There is no alumni interaction as the college might feel they might get a negative response as a lot of students will give negative feedback due to not getting well placed.

Admission

Won a scholarship. Was looking for a reasonable college with not huge college fees for MBA. I got placed in an MNC on campus. People who are good deserves to get placed. Its been 7 years and now I am BM for an MNC with a good package. The college helps in getting placements if you deserve it.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was mixed in different age groups. Some good faculty were there with rich industry experience in various companies. Some of the faculties were not that knowledge with field experience and use to teach only what they have learned through Google.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
