Remarks

Ours was a very cosmopolitan atmosphere,students were from different parts of the country,race and religion with some foreign students

Course Curriculum Overview

A lot of practical training,was imparted to us,we had great teachers who were dedicated towards teaching and makeing ius do a lot of practical training was a key towards making us independent.the attached hospital was good though run by the government

During our period we did not have companies visiting college admissions were into government service

College Events

Sports day,annual day were great events,sports day was a real great day we used to look out for,we had March past,the athletes event football hockey and tennis were interesting,the annual day of the college was fun and frolic and good students were rewarded

Fee Structure And Facilities

Pretty expensive,as medical colleges are expensive,scholorship was haly there,but we had a lot of dedicated students who wanted to serve humanity,we had some small additional fees collected which I feel was not required but we had no choice.

Campus Life

We were a highly diverse regarding the geography of India,females were less,we had great labs,music dance debates were encouraged by the college,student elactions were. Always a great event with practically everybody participating,lots of fun teachers wete cooperative

Hostel Facilities

We had shared rooms and common bathrooms, everything was paid for,food was very average,and was mananged by the inmates with the help of a hostel warden,I feel a professional caterer is better who can be monitered by a external agency

Yes the teachers and alumini were helpful,though it was fun when we were ragged in a friendly manner

Admission

Service to humanity,medicine is a great field which I feel should be persued by those who are really interested in serving humanity,though unfortunately we had students who were forced by their parents.ours was a fairly new college though it was well equiped

Faculty

Most of them had a post graduate degree and some having a doctrate though basically all are medical doctors,the teachers were pretty dedicated and sinceare,they were very well trained and hanndled students well,they also participated in different events

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

I recommend this course if they are really interested to do so.. we have internals once every three monthes and get a month for preparation holidays for the final exams.. That one month would be the most crucial period for proper preparation

Mbbs - more than just a degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. About our life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose these medical profession, because I have passion and to help the needy people to keep their health in good way. This college helped a lot to learn about ways to help the needy people by early clincal exposure and by teaching the technique of medical emergency things. We have university exam yearly once which will be easy and application based questioning level.

Life in JNMC Belagavi

I applied to KMC Manipal and JSS mysore but i couldn't get through because of the cutoff score of that years NEET UG as these are high cutoff colleges. This is the only college I got a confirmed admission from and this in itself is a very prestigious college which was developed back in 1963. Neet UG went wrong. Everyone please study because my colleges cutoff was 436 out of 720 in NEET UG. And for JSS was 460. Kmc manipal toh was a different league only. I thought I would get into it in stray round but then also it was at 600 so there was no chance. The admission experience was actually very smooth and nice with them calling us to a convention centre and telling us the details of the fees and everything about the hostel in a calm manner and they also took 10th and 12th boards original certificate and this you will get only when you complete your MBBS degree and not before that. Other than that my friends have also tried KS hegde college which they found moderate at best. In campus terms this college was the best...Read More
