Remarks

Good: Flexible on fees collection and transparency on all details from management. Bad: Not much focused on imparting proper knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This was a newly introduced course by our college and so much to impact was taken by staff and management and projects and industrial training were made necessary for completing the BBA Degree. As a BBA student, I liked it with all my core heart, getting to know industries and organisations, management, helps to grow as a perfect individual

Placement Experience

2

Not much into campus placements, the initiate was taken by management but could not make it fruitful for students.

College Events

3

In-house cultural activities, apart from group discussions, extempore and management-related skills enhancement activities. Extra initiatives were taken by the previous alumni network along with regular teaching staff to develop interpersonal and other management skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible at that time in 1999 and mode of payment was cheque’s only. College was very much transparent with fees structure from the very beginning. Being a Kashmiri migrant I was even given relaxation on fees charges etc. No additional hidden charges were asked.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not aware if they provide any scholarship nowadays, it’s a private college and scholarships at that time was not available

Campus Life

3

Ours as the coeducational college has students from other states also and from good family backgrounds and it was all friendly and healthy atmosphere always among students. From college point of view, initially in the first and second year, apart from the regular staff, alumni network also put extra effort to organise competitions, debates to develop personal and management skills that were actually a part of the course curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I have not opted for the hostel as I was local to Delhi. But there was a hostel facility for outside students. Rooms with basic amenities on sharing basis separate for boys and girls. Water, electricity with one common dining space.

Alumni/Alumna

Our batch was the 2nd batch. Most of our classmates are in touch with each other. Our senior batch was initially helpful but later didn’t prove much of our help

Admission

After taking the entrance test and initial interview process at south extension Delhi. This institution is a UGC recognised and with all well educated faculties and management. Not aware of what is the admission process now. Complete course of 3 years was divided into semesters

Faculty

3

Around 5 faculties were available. Among them one Mr Srivastava an accounts faculty was very impressive and knowledgable with CA as his qualifications, Rest I don’t remember now as it’s almost 21 years now. As per the course curriculum, most of the faculties were either from MBA OR Commerce Background.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was studying, students were doubling down to study Software engineering, no matter which stream they belong too. But now, Electronics and Communication has become an important area to study as it holds promosing carreer options in the age of AI where we need Chips and hardware design, server management. People in mechanical engineering can excel if they focus on building something rather than just studying. In order to prepare for real world applications, one has to do a lot of things rather than sticking to only one persuit. I don't have much to suggest something in course carriculam and this college has best teaching methods regardless what they are taught. Students have ample time to do things they like in every semister. Studying for nearly 2 weeks before sessional exams and 1 month before final exams is enough and rest of the time can be dedicated into building something important.
