Remarks

I wish there were better opportunities for food nutrition and dietitics students and also that they aren't separated.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's an average study scope. Hands on practical knowledge is only syllabus based. Industrial visits are organized but the most important industry visit was canceled this year and probably it won't be ahead.that was the most disappointing moment.for the batch 2020.

Placement Experience

3

We have to do a clinical internship placement for 1 month period.there wasnt a lot of information that was provided by the lecturers.we had to do 70% of the process research on our own.

College Events

4

There are too many to list.but this year most of the important events are cancelled due to covid. Teacher's day Freshers day Union day Centenary day Students day Festival day Bquest Farewell College day Founders day Many more programs and events are organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite feasible.my course is the most expensive course in the whole institution. Rest all the courses are very affordable. Arranging from 11k to 26k is the fee ranging excluding uniform, apron, equipments etc. Even exam fee has to be paid separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarship. But there are a few available from the government to provide for the students.

Campus Life

2.5

It's an all women college.no gender ratio to consider at all.I really dont prefer such a setting but I was out of option.there are extra curricular associations you have to be a part of.fnd is in a separate building hence there is a lot of clash when everyone is under one roof.

Alumni/Alumna

The course that I was studying is too restrictive of any social interaction. Hence we dint get enough time to interact with seniors.also I have studied in this institution due to an alumni.

Admission

Becoming a dietitian is amazing and has wonderful scope and if u love clinical work this is perfect.when I wanted to join it was the only institution in mangalorethat offered this particular course. It's a simple process. Just go with provisional Mark's card n documents.you can talk to principal for an interview and it's done.

Faculty

3.5

7 full time and 1 part time lecture is available in our department. Most of them are not very experienced. Notes are provided on ppt and xerox copies.they take up classes on PowerPoint. Only a few hold certification and industry experience. They do not have a lot of contacts to help students attain good internship placement.

The curriculum isnt only theoritical but also has lot of practical insights which helps us gain onfield experience and knowlegde. The course could have been made a little less hectic for the students and a bit of breaks could have been added in between them. The exams are really packed and we get a lot of assignments.

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects.
