Remarks

Because this was the best government college in Bhopal. Its reputation in Bhopal is the highest among all commerce colleges. It only has honours courses and no courses without honours are available. Only good scorers and toppers with 90+ marks get admission here. Sometimes 85+

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course syllabus is out dated and the faculty is often inexperienced. Sometimes even the English teacher doesn't really know perfect English. The senior facilties are experienced and good. But most of the faculties are arrogant and rude. We usually can't really have a good relation with faculty. It's rare. Sometimes faculty doesn't even complete syllabus and we have to give exams without proper education. The internal marking is also extremely biased. We suffer in getting marks.

Internships Opportunities

We had a Diploma in Finance course in which the college arranged an internship. I didn't take the course but went for internship at Kalptaru Multipliers. The internship was pretty informative.

Placement Experience

2.5

Few companies visited for placements but mostly nobody is aware when companies come. Sometimes they put it up on board, but sometimes you won't even know and the company has already gone. The companies come and some conduct GD and PI. Some are straight PI walk ins.

College Events

1.5

Well we didn't really have any events except for some. The only awaited event was Tarang. No good events other than this. Extracurricular activities were there, like some sports and stuff, but mostly student weren't aware. We got to know about things when they were already over. No proper communication. Gym is there but closed since years. No proper sports. No swimming, no dance classes, no singing or art or anything. Very boring. We died to attend events the whole year.

Campus Life

2

Haha, No wifi, obviously. Equipments in lab? What does that even mean? Shitty computers, some doesn't even work. The campus is okayish. The benches are not really comfortable, and our campus is in the open so it hot all the time. We don't even have proper functional fans. We almost die of heat during summers, it's too hot. And the authorities are so arrogant, they won't even talk to us. Its like they are celebrities or something treating us like GARBAGE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

one of the main reason I choose this cause was the balanced mix of the course objects and optional subjects, which helped me to customise my learning according to my career goes and in addition the focus on practical skills assignments projects give the course and h over purely theoretical programs. And the course curriculum was well designed to prepare students for both the professional life and there like further academy life . Concepts by explain in a way that can be applied in a real words scenarios and the projects and case studies provide exposure to practical challenges. Faculties really try to teach us the real world things. So overall for the students evening for higher studies the course builders solid conceptual foundation. Once suggestion would be like some topics could be updated to include the latest industries trends and technology advancements. And the other suggestion I would like to give will be the the exams and the tests were conducted regularly the frequency and timing could be better spaced to reduce exam pressure.

The college takes in students purely on the basis of merit i.e. on the basis of their percentages in their 12th board examination. I scored a decent of 83% and could manage to find my name in the merit list. The merit list closed at 72%.
