Remarks

I was a commerce graduate and wanted to pursue bachelors in commerce from the very starting. My home town is in Jaipur, therefore wanted to complete my graduation in the same city. I researched about the colleges, and shortlisted Xavier's because of its reputation in the city and the exposure that it provides to the students. Also, as per my experience students from really good schools and background take admissions here and so it is a great place to make contacts.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college is affiliated by University of Rajasthan and so the course curriculum is followed as per their guidelines. The teachers are really good and their teaching style is also good but there was no industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placements opportunity is not at all good for our colleges. No such big companies come for the drive. Well, you just can't blame the college as there are no big companies in Jaipur. And the average package offered is around 10000 per month. Almost of the students don't opt for the placements.

College Events

4

The college regularly hosts different inter college events all over the year. There are various fests organised by different departments of the college. And at the end of the year, the college hosts its annual event known as The Zest. It's the best college fest in Jaipur and a lot of participants take part in it. More than 15 competitions are organised.

Campus Life

3.5

The c-scheme campus of the college is small and not too big but the college is now permanently shifting to the Nevta campus which is really big and provides all the amenities like the playground, library, auditorium etc.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.
