Most named college in odisha. I choose BJB autonomous college because this college is situated in odishas capital bhubaneswar and is an autonomous college which frames its own regulations. The reason for choosing BJB autonomous college is this college provide students the grounds to show their qualities. Best faculty providing best education possible. Where ever you go in odisha you we heare BJB autonomous college is the best. By the way this is a government college and fee structure is very less and for reserved category student its suitable.

Bjb autonomous college has got many courses but talking about my course i choose commerce stream B.COM and this college holds records for maximum passouts in commerce stream. You choose any course it will be fine but you need to take tution or coaching from external sources as it is a government college. Remember bjb autonomous college is a govt college and there will be no tutions only the class hours. The faculty are good but you will not be able to cope up with them as the strength of the class is big and the faculty will not be able to clear all your doubts.

Bjb autonomous college gives no priority on placements as only a few company offers placements here. Students gets no option to choose from so they do not apply into any of these company there may be a few handful of students who would be going for this kind of placements. The college should look after this matter seriously.

Campus life was awesome as every time our bachmates came up with something new programmes. Election time makes the college feels like you are a politician. Ncc grounds,scouts,red ribbion society etc etc. Made the college life awesome. You can also make your college life awesome by being in unity and organising programmes on your own.

You can avail scholarship by submitting your form for prerana scholarship yojana every year. You must be aware of the time and when notified fill it quick and avail the scholarship this is the facility which was introduced by our cm naveen pattnaik.

BJB autonomous college has got an appealing infrastructure with 5-6 floors of buildings. (but you will study only on side buildings not on those 5-6 floors buildings they are left and are not used). Got sir buxi jagabandhus statue on the main gate canteen,park,big grounds,entire place named bjb nagar.

There are two hostle one is ambedkar hostel for sc,st students and general hostel for rests. Hostel infrastructure were not the best as you need to share your room with 4 others with just only one fan hanging. The washrooms were not tidy. Mess was not clean and you need to pay for mess. Food cleanliness were not prioritize.
