Remarks

It was well reputed college. I got admission in the second alotment hence i decided to join the college. The placements was okay from the reports i got from internet. But seriously don't expect placement rather that computer science. CS guys will get placement if they don't have anu arrier

Course Curriculum Overview

I joined the collehe during the implimentation of new University. We were the first batch to passout in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. There were so many issues regarding the exams and other things in the university. But now the functioning has become smooth

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Only CD guys gets placement. No other branch students will be placed in their core branches. Soo poor placement cell, they are wasting money on the placement cell. They can appoint some good staff who has more interest in students career rather than a person just coming to college to get salary

College Events

Campus life was soo good. I satmmtayed in boys hostel inside the campus. The food is ok, nice rooms, friendly staffs. Other programs are conducted often. tech fest, arts days everything is there.

Wifi facility is listed in the facility list but can't have any access to it. Using mobile phine in the campus is strictly prohibited. There is an HR whi always walks here and there to catch student's mobile phone. Also sports facilities are less. But we have good library with a pot of accessebility. Good labs and other features

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is of 3 floor ragging is strictly prohibited. We maintain a good relationship with juniors to avoid complicated issues everyone enjoy the hostel life soo much. Food is good in the hostel we have non vegetarian food in the mess.

Hostel Fee: INR 38000 per year

I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. The average package offered is 100000-200000 per year and more than 10 companies visit per year. About 80 percentage of students are getting placed though campus placement. Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

I preferred this college because it was closer to my home and my cousin studied there. I got admission through state merit. I got this college on the third allotment, on both the other allotment i got placed but i was looking forward to this college so i rejected them both. To get eligibility to my college i need a minimum of 60 percent on my PCM subjects. KEAM exam which is kerala state entrance exam, you have to pass it inorder to apply for the colleges of your preference. Almost every student i know have written the keam exam and almost everyon is in merit seat. Merit seat has a cut off of 25000 from the management fee which is 100000 and merit fee will be 75000...Read More
