Remarks

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad is a great college situated in Vasad, Anand. It is the only college that I think can ever compete with MSU in terms of good studies. The college has good faculties and also has a good services along with great placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is affiliated with GTU, so we study the curriculum based on GTU only. Regarding Industry exposure, there are many workshops held in between the semester by industry experts having enough experience. The faculties are really cooperative and help us with whatever resources we need.

Major MNC's like TCS and other regional companies visit the college every year for recruitment. For some years the packages are as high as 14 LPA. For SY and TY students, the college conducts mock placements every semester. The TNP cell does a great job in inviting major companies.

There are mainly 2 major events happening in the college every year. First is Prakarsh, a national event and second is Vision, an intra-college event. Along with this many small events and programs happen all round the year.

Our college is more than 20 years old but still follows the modern design aesthetics. We have facilities like free wifi, AC labs and seperate fields and arenas for different sports. The library occupies almost 1 whole building of the college and has books related of academics, novels and books for further studies.

Placement of this college iss too good. When you come in 3rd you will be eligible for the placement drive. Companies like tcs, mnc, infoysis these are the come come in placement. Highest package of the university is 40 lpa and average placement is 8 lpa. 75% students got their dream job.

A real insight

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good, after the 6th sem students can opt-in for placements. tcs, motorola and other major local companies visited the campus. highest package was around 9 10 lpa and avg was around 3.1 lpa. almost all students got placed till the end of season and faculties personally help the students to get placed.

Current Details of SVIT

Honestly I targeted SVIT, because it was near by vadodara, easy to travel and timings were also good enough to get adpoted with. The fews structure and environment their is much better than other colleges. The admission process is through ACPC, vacant quota, management quota and SC/ST quota. I got admission through vacant quota after 2nd round of ACPC. The cutoff for ACPC in Computer Engineering at my admission time was 5000. And for vacanct quota it was extended to 9000 after 3rd round of ACPC . The admission process was smooth. The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
