Remarks

I will suggest its an average college in Bangalore Rural and with a normal management.

Entrance Preview

I took admission through management, as i didn't had any interest in studying, but just because of my maternal uncle i took addmission and came to bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

To be frank, at the first day of my college life I was totally numb and was not able to understand wats going on. Slowly i picked up and successfully completed my engineering.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was quite good, got lots of new things to learn from my friend and faculty which helps allot in jobs. In terms of stipend they were not giving anything.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement was bit good but as I was not having throughout 60% in 10th and 12th, I was not able to attend any interview. But luckily got placed in CMC, but i refused that offer and got placed from outside.

College Events

3.5

These are the following events which we celebrated during college life, Fresher Party, Santhasa- College Fest, Cricket College Tournament, Alumni Fest, Farewell Party from the time of fresher party to till the farewell party, we enjoyed allot and celebrated like anything with colleague and faculty.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure through management is very much feasible in compare to take admission by giving competitive exam COMED-K. But if you compare with CET student it is very expensive. CET student pay one-third of the COMED-K student fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholarship from college and i never expect also. Loan facility was there for the student who were not able to manage fee.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was awesome, I enjoyed allot and missing those days. Wanna get back those days if I can get by any means. I participated in many competition and games, but the most memorable moment for me was doing dance for first time in life that too in front of entire IS department in seniors farewell function.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I would say 9 out of 10, because we were getting all means of services on time including cleaning and all. For food we had three different mess(South Indian, North Indian, Kerala Mess) with respective cook from the zone.

Alumni/Alumna

I would definitely says my Alumni network was awesome, they helped allot in terms of all manner and also while placement they guided very well. They also suggest for preparation of examination in easy way to achive good marks.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as per the VTU norms. Its very specific toward the exam and chilled. All the student give the exam and chilled with there friends.

Faculty

3

Comparatively with other branches of my college, Information Science faculty was very good and supportive toward student. They use to cal us after college for extra classes incase of any doubts.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
