Remarks

Economics had been my favourite subject and I always wanted to pursue a career in this field. Symbiosis is a reputed college for its Economics course. The unique BSc. Course in Economics is one of the major factors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well updated and they keep making changes every year. We have good industrial exposure. Faculties are really helpful and very supportive. They are ready to help the students whenever the Need be. All the teachers are my favourite.

Placement Experience

College placements are not much but we have some good companies coming to our college. We have food alumni network for job referrals and the college keeps in touch with them for placement. Some of our alumni have also started the star ups that are quite successful.

College Events

Campus life is amazing. We have many extracurricular activities and events happening every year. One of the most important event is Economist Of The Year where we have participation from students of different college. We have cultural and social fest every year.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Remarks:

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me.
