Remarks

I chose this college for my bright future. The college has a very good reputaion in the entire city of vishakhapatanam. The college has a very good record in placements. My elder brother ia an alumini of this college only.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable also helpful towards students. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant to the Department of Computer Science engineering. They teach students in a practical manner rather than just theory.

Placement Experience

There are pretty good companies/recruiters that visit the campus during the time of placements, although the package is totally dependent on the student's skills gitam Hyderabad has the highest package of around 20Lpa. There are more than 20 companies like Google, Amazon IBM. Etc. Visit the college for recruitment.

College Events

The events and fests are organised very well. And also all technical and non-technical events are organized. Also, the workshops are conducted. The campus surroundings are very good with cleanliness maintained everywhere inside and outside of the campus. The scholarships are given based upon academic performance.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is excellent and also all facilities provided. The campus is surrounded by Wi-Fi and also the labs contain good equipment, the classrooms with projector and air conditioner, the library has a separate building with a digital library and also 5 Lacs plus books. The hostel is good and also the food is above average. The medical facilities are provided by the GITAM medical hospital. Two big grounds are available for games and tournaments are conducted.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

After the completion of 12th , I gave OJEE and got a good rank , and then I applied in a government scholarship scheme which is called TFW and got selected by this collage, for that scheme my 50% course Fee got waved.
