Remarks

Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication was a first Journalism University in India. As I completed my Graduation from Allahabad University in Media Studies, my seniors informed me about this University and the courses. Even my seniors also taken admission in this University and I recieved good feedback so I decided to take admission in same.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus was totally relateble with the subjects and they circulate the syllabus in starting of each semester for the students betterment. We also visits DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC RELATION, MADHYA PRADESH, to know the work of PR Agencies.

Internships Opportunities

Sahara Samay News Channel , Green TV Agricultural channel, Directorate of Public Relation, Montrose Foundation (NGO)

Placement Experience

In the University many news channel visit for placement i.e. Zee News, About News, ETV Bharat and many local news channel. The process of placement occur through written exam , Group discussion and F2F interview. But there were no Advertising agency, PR agency or any film production visit for Ad&PR , film production students placement.

College Events

There were a college fest every year named as "PRATIBHA" which means the talent. In this event every cultural, sports, academic Competition organised. There were 7 departments in the University. All the departments had competition among them. At last, there were final trophy announced in which the total winners are counted with their departments. After that the final winner of department announced.

when it comes to course curriculum it is good but sometimes the content of the paper is not available in orderly manner moreover the framework of skill development courses is not good at all plus the marks of assignment and skill development is given to by teachers randomly not the basis of assignment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way some of the faculties taught. I would rate our curriculam 2 out of 5 as some parts are outdated. No practicle classes just theories. Like 80% of theory classes and 20% live or practicle classes.

The teaching is mainly based on theoretical purpose. We are also go on field to survey. Semester sometimes got delayed due to weakness of examination cell. Faculty should focus on time management as they delayed classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since, music is alike with that of science , commerce etc. So there is a high demand of study to be smart i. e. Practial based. Curriculum have about two written tests and two semesters in a year in which about 80 % mark's distribution is in theoritical tests and less on practical which can be opposite too i.e. 80 % practical and 20 % theoritical. Curriculum seems to be relevant in only one aspect and that is the tests being conducted for the teaching job in the field of music whether school level or college level.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement LIC, HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank, TATA consultancy services etc. Companies visited our college and they offer on an average 3 lakhs per year. Highest package is around 6 lakhs as per company and profile offered 20-30% students get placement
