Remarks

It is NBA, NAAC 'A' grade affiliated college. The stafs and lectures are student friendly and educated from different universities in india and abroad. This campus promotes sports and other cultural activities. Good laboratory facilities in every branch is also Appreciatable.

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

Placement Experience:

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Golden days in my college life

I have passed my BE with 78%. But it is not enough to get admission to this college. So I applied for the TANSET exam which is a Tamilnadu-based entrance exam for master's degree in engineering. I got 29 marks as my cut-off in that exam out of 50. So I got a chance to get admission to this college for a structural engineering course. I only need to apply for this college so I haven't tried for other colleges. And i belong to MBC so that is also an added advantage for me. I don't have any suggestions for this college other than a fee. Because im from a poor family I requested for fee discount even im an R.C. Christian and the correspondent was aslo catholic he didn't consider my request and treated my widow's parents very badly. Otherwise everything is good....Read More

The college is situated on the outskirts of Nagercoil below a mountain. The pleasant atmosphere, gentle breeze, cool weather, and gentle rainfall were one of the reason and to be more specific, the college has shown tremendous improvement in placements in the last couple of years, the infrastructure is pretty good and finally, the college is at its best in lab equipment and providing practical knowledge to the students.
