Remarks

Good for core branches. One of the best college in Maharashtra. Experienced faculties mostly from IITs and NITs. The good learning environment also campus is good. Placements are nice. Staff is supportive. New equipment in the lab for practical and research work.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be a Civil Engineer. Faculty to Student ratio is about 1:20. Most of them are PhD holders. Experienced staff. Modern techniques of teaching like digital classrooms are provided. Each classroom has projectors for teaching purpose. College is affiliated to Savatribai Phule Pune University, therefore, follows the exam pattern of SPPU difficulty level of exam is moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placements are ok. Mostly big companies and MNC visit campus every year. Companies like Byjus, l&t, Infosys etc visits every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit and income of the family. Reputed Companies comes for campus recruitments.

Infrastructure is very nice. Mostly greenery. The college has 5 canteens so a variety of food choices. The annual fest is named as Sandipotsav. The library contains an average amount of books. College has 3 grounds for football, cricket etc. College has its own NGO.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
