Aniket Gite's Review On Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering - [LTCE], Navi Mumbai

I gave MH CET exams followed by group discussion and personal interview. It was centralized process of admission.

We had 4 years. Each year has 2 semesters, making it total of 8 semesters. Subjects in first Sem being common for all streams, specific courses started in 2nd year. Last year has elective subject of Mobile Computing or Artificial Intelligence.

Well, as far as I am aware there was not internship in engineering. For sure there is no Paid internship. Engineering has vacation for not more than 2 months in one year. Out of which, one month is PL ie Preparation leave which is given to prepare for your exams.

Mechanical Branch had highest Placement numbers in Lokamnya Tilak. In 2009 highest paid package in our college was 3.6 lac per Annum.

We had functions like annual day, sports, dance competition, robot racing, zephyr, then we used to invite other colleges for competitions and Sports. Also used to send our College team to represent us in other colleges On their invitation.

As I am Alumni, I can tell they are very talented. I am an Entrepreneur. Some of my friends are at very good position today. Some are not abroad. Some took job directly after engineering. Some went for further studies.

Labs were available whenever required on Pre booking. Otherwise schedule was fixed for each class. Every semester had one final exam are the end.

As in all colleges, faculties are always mixture of good and bad. Some were awesomely talented in programming. Some were just not up to the mark. All I know is you need to have Masters degree in engineering of specific steam.
