Insight about my college

Our college is one of the best college in India. You will get good exposure to outside society and you will get much knowledgeable.

Yes the curriculum was groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students that had helped me my friends to got placememt. Ours college is governmnet college so we also have to self interest in learning because many facilities are availble in our college and to improve our knowledge we can visit any industries with the help of our college id card and our professors will also accompany as in the industrial visit we will be seeing many compnaies and the professor will also help to learn. But mainly you have to learn if u want to become a good engineer and shine in society.

Our college will be vistied by many big MNC's like FORD, ASHOK LEYLAND, CATERPILLAR, HYUNDAI, FCA, INFOSYS, CTS, WIPRO, ZOOM and many other companies. The general filter things will be the GPA of the students and they will be further filtered by online test containing aptitude and core related questions followed by GD and 2 or 3 layers of personal interview process some times we will also have practical interviews about 70 pecent of studens who have good score and good vision will be placed in an company. Some students even have 2 placement offers at a time. Yes, our institute will give training in aptitude and core related question trainings our professors will give advices before going to placement.

Yes each department have their own symposiums conducted in odd and even semester even we have common symposium like carte blanche we have 2 cultural events like sivaranjani and mitafest in both semesters. And in each events about 1000 peoples will participate in these. We will also have celebrities visiting our colleges during our cultural events which will be conducted 3 days per semester.

As our colllege is an government college we have less fee package and it will be accepetd as DD or online payments onlyy no cash will be accepted. No additional fee we have to pay to secure our admission it's very less cost. And the fee break down is very transparent even we will receive extra amount form college id it remains.

Yes, our college offer many scholarship for the students. Even I paid my hostel and college fee by the scholarship amount only I don't get money from my home as I am poor and from village my college is taking caring of my fees payments.

Gender ratio is high in elex streams as girls will be high is elex streams and boys will be high in mech streams we have many societies like PDA, YRC, NSS, NSO like organisation to help us in our extra curricular activities improvement. Yes even our college have NRI studens from other countries studying in our college. There is no gender, ethnicity, race, religion discrimination in our college, there will be also no sexual discrimination in our college.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel, the hostel very good than the other PG s outside the college we have good food facilities we will be provide non vegetarian 4 daily. the hostels will be accommodated about 2000 of students so many students will not take PG outside the colleges.

Yes, we have good alumni network even our college have alumuni association that will be help studnets by giving scholarships and placements. We also have good relationsship with our seniors who will also be helping in our interns and placements and in our four year college life and sports life.

I got my admission by counselling process. First I am not aware of anything about the college I only know the nearby colleges of my district it was my first time visit to chennai and reached anna university on second day afternoon counselling process I was waiting for about 20 min in the waiting hall during that time I got suggestion mainly from my uncle and decide to take anna u iversity production engineering course he only told that this course have good future so I have taken the course still now the course was very good.

Our department in oir college is one of the biggest department in our college we have about 100 teaching and non teaching faculty members for about 1:1 ratio of students and professors. We have about 20 doctrate holders, 30 teaching staffs and about 50 non traching staffs for our workshop things. We have also visitng faculty who have above 35 years of teaching and industrial experiences and our professor will annually attend many international conferences and industries they will visit to enlighten our knowledge also. Some professors also have even Management degree to teach us about management areas.
