Remarks

The core explanation is this: the academy lacks a serious culture of teaching and learning. When students do not learn enough, we must question whether institutions of higher education deliver enough value to justify their costs. Resolving the learning crisis will therefore require fundamental, thoroughgoing changes in our colleges and universities. There must be real change -- change beyond simplistic answers such as reducing costs and improving efficiency -- to improve value.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In order to prepare students to enter the workforce or further their education, two-year college programs should provide experiences that go beyond chemistry knowledge alone to develop other critical skills necessary for effective and productive professionals. Strategies for helping students acquire skill sets needed for successful careers include offering courses dedicated to student skills, integrating student-skill-focused activities into regular curricular offerings, and engaging students in research and internship experiences. Regardless of the approaches used, programs should also assess student skills and adjust the curriculum as needed to maximize their development.

Placement Experience

4

Key features: Less Competition In on-campus placement, only the students who study in that particular college compete with each other. So there are more chances of you to get hired. Less Pressure Mostly college negotiates with the companies in terms of packages, date and time of the recruitment. Less scrounging for companies The Training and Placement Cell of the college prepares a list of companies to invite in a particular year. The Training and Placement Cell also inform their students in advance that which company is coming on that particular day. Students just have to go there in perform well. Criteria set by Company Generally in the screening round, criteria that is being set is overall cgpa(most of the time the Training and Placement Cell itself sets this). This is to ensure that the student who has worked hard throughout the college should get more chance of getting hired than those who wasted their time in useless activities.

College Events

4.5

When you are entering college life after your high school, it means you are entering in a new world. It’s also a first step towards the future, career and upcoming opportunities. College life means new friends, attending lectures and making lots of memories. Sometimes, people mass bunk classes to participate in a movie or to hang out with friends. All these processes are part of growing up, a part of entering the adult phase of life, a part of life where you take the first step towards decision making. Apart from studying in college, college days are also fun during the college fest, where you explore the new sides of you and make new friends from other faculties, get to know each other, relax from long lectures. The college fest is usually of three to four days with several events by the students themselves. Sometimes, celebrities and the well-known band also perform on the final day of the event make it more memorable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

-Fee structure is very feasible as it is a government funded Institute and a University Department of RTMNU. The annual fee is around 28000 and for 4 year course its approximately 28000X4= 120000 for Open Category and OBC category 50% concession and for SC/NT category 70% concession is given by government.

Fees and Financial Aid

Along with growing awareness about the importance of education to succeed in the knowledge economy, the cost of quality education too is growing fast. Parents too are willing to bear that extra cost to fund their child's higher education. Education loan is the most cost effective means to fund your education if you are unable to get a full scholarship or do not have a generous aunt or uncle willing to sponsor your education. Though most banks do provide education loan, it is the public sector banks that are in the forefront in providing education loans. In recent years, a large number of students, especially those pursuing professional courses in India or abroad, are availing of education loans. According to latest data from the Reserve Bank of India, education loans disbursed by Indian banks rose 51 per cent to Rs 15,000 crore for the financial year ending March 2007 from Rs 9,962 crore at the end of March 2006. Are you looking out for en education loan to complete a professional MBA or engineering course? Do you know what are the finer points that you need to know before going for an education loan? Following are a few points you need to check while applying for an education loan.

Campus Life

4.5

College management is efficient and gets the job done real quick. The management is always open to students and they try to help you in every way they can, going an extra mile always.Even if some things take time, it's mostly because it must need some requisites from the University. Any college issue will be solved as soon as possible. No entrance examination. University commerce College (Henceforth, UCC) is affiliated to Rajasthan University (RU) and follows the same admission process as under RU. It releases a list of cut-off percentage for separate courses and stream, which if you have scored in your class 12th makes you eligible for admission. The percentage is calculated from the Best of Four subjects you had in 12th and subjects like PE, Second language are not to be considered. Our faculty is nice and helpful and college facilities are quite remarkable and along with that our college always produces great results. No college placements for students. Canteen and playground are okay. Good government college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

One of the key contributors to an intensive learning experience is living in campus. A well-furnished and aesthetically designed hostel with separate wings for boys and girls has been constructed with a view to provide best possible facilities to the students, Hostel is located in the same campus and is about 500 hundred meters from the institute building. Campus is under the surveillance of CCTV camera and provides safe environment for girl candidates. GHS-IMR hostel is a two storied building with 45 rooms. Students can opt for rooms that offer single or double occupancy as per student’s own need. Hostel has a facilities like RO water purifier, water cooler, a common room with TV, which creates a homely atmosphere. The rooms are bright, spacious, comfortable, clean and airy. All hostel rooms have 24 hours internet access. The Internet and the Intranet of the Institute enables the students to constantly interact with each other and be connected to the outside world.

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE professionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing. Supporters

Admission

Not all college admissions factors are connected to an applicant’s record. When a student applies — Priority Admission, Early Action, Early Decision 1, Early Decision 2, Regular Decision, or Rolling Admission — can impact admission. Finances — some schools consider a student’s need for financial aid while others are so-called “need blind” — can also factor in. Overall trends in admissions as well as an individual school’s particular demographics and institutional priorities also impact the process. While some of the above elements are beyond an applicant’s control, a shrewd candidate will consider them all in an application strategy. In fact, a successful application process involves much more than just deadlines and essays. It’s about understanding all of the mitigating factors and then planning, strategizing, and knowing which schools and application pools will maximize your chances for acceptance. At College Coach, every one of our college admissions experts has worked in an admissions office, reading, assessing, and deciding upon thousands of applications before joining our team. We know the process, we know what’s required — some of us have even written the essay questions you might be answering — and we know how it works. Simply put: we’re here to help.

You have chosen to teach in higher education because you are a subject-matter specialist with a tremendous knowledge of your discipline. As you enter or continue your career, there is another field of knowledge you need to know: teaching and learning. What we know about teaching and learning continues to grow dramatically. It includes developing effective instructional strategies, reaching today’s students, and teaching with technology. Where is this knowledge base? Books, articles in pedagogical periodicals, newsletters, conferences, and online resources provide ample help. Take advantage of your institution’s center for teaching and learning or other professional development resources.
