Review of my college

College is good if you want to study, some fun points are missing but you will love its space and open nature in the surrounding. Management is very helpful but also strict about discipline.

This college provides various courses and fields. Its curriculum is strictly followed as per the norms of Aktu. Courses are divided into the semester and each semester has a period of 6months. Each semester contains 2 sessionals, 1 Pre university exam and 1 external apart from this it also includes a practical lab, viva, projects and assignments.

The placement of this college is very good. In fact, it is famous for its placement around the city of Merrut. Almost 80+ percent of students get placed every year in various companies. Top companies like Tata Motors, Wipro, HCL, TCS, Mahindra, Bajaj, Hero motocorp, Godrej, Infosys and 100s of other companies visit every year for recruitment. There is a special cell called placement cell which brings the company and also trains and prepare the students for placement and interviews. They organise seminars and workshop to train us to present ourselves infront of company placement executives.

The college organises cultural festivals, sports meet, techfest every year for students. Celebrities like Virendra Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Hard Kaur etc have visited our college in past. College also organises cultural programs, festivals. Students participate in these festivals to show their talent and entertain us.

The fees of the Btech program is around three lakhs for 4 years. If you include a hostel then you have to pay an extra 55000 per year. College accepts all types of payment model, like demand draft, cheque, card payment etc. There is also an Atm just outside the campus gate. If u see the current scenario then fees are feasible to compare to other colleges.

Unfortunately according to my knowledge, I don't know about scholarship but college do provide scholarship for UP students.

Like other engineering colleges, the gender ratio is quite low, but it is good in the case of the Cs and It branch. Almost all students of different backgrounds caste, region, creed, religion study here peaceful and with brotherhood. There are large grounds for sports. It has 1 basketball court, 1 tennis court, 2 volleyball court, 1 football ground and 1 cricket ground. So in terms of sports, you will get everything.

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. There are 2 separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. Each hostel has 2 blocks. In each room, only 2 students are accommodated which is very good. Rooms are larger and spacier. If you don't want to live in the hostel then around colleges few pg are available at cost of 3000 to 5000rs per month

The ragging is strictly prohibited and also seniors are good and helpful. I haven't geet opportunity to meet alumni but they do visit seminars or any programs

I have given the entrance exam organised by Aktu where I qualified and select this college through counselling. I choose this college because they provide a very good education and fees are low compare to other nearby colleges. To take admission in this college, you have to appear in Upsee exam and choose this college through and secure good rank Then through counselling and according to your cutoff rank you could get admission in this college

There are approx 60+ faculties available here of different courses of a different branch. They are well versed in their subjects and have also good experience of teaching. Each faculty took 3or4 lecture a day and almost all faculties have Btech degree. Some of them also have experience of industries and they have worked there in past. Apart from good teaching, they are very friendly towards the students and always ready to help us
