Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Political science as my course and the course was based on the syllabus provided by University, it is actually relevant for the people who wants to understand about it. It's not that much reaserch driven, we are getting taught the same old concepts of polity.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that good, only the students of vocational courses gets the job. The students of arts gets towards government jobs.
College Events
Several events gets celebrated in the college like independence day, republic day, saraswati puja etc. There are many more events which are being celebrated like freshers party, fairwell, many types of melas were celebrated, also we celebrate birthdays of our teachers and teachers day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very less, because most of the things are taken care by the government so we have to bear very less amount of fee. The payment modes are Cash and online. There is no additional fee apart from the addmission fee and annual fee. The fee structure is quite transparent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college do give scholorships to the students but it is mostly for the SC, ST and OBC community. The general category students has very less chance to get the scholorships.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is almost 50:50, the college has students from every caste and community, their are many cultural societies and any student can join them. There is no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, gender or any other bases. Every student is treated equal to each other.
Hostel Facilities
No I didn't opted for hostel. Hostel service is provided by the college. There are sufficient rooms in the hostels for students to stay. The quality of hostel rooms is satisfactory and livable. Fooding should be arranged by the students themselves.
Alumni/Alumna
They are quite helpful to junior students. Whenever there is need junior students can call them or get on touch with them.
Admission
Admission is based on merit list. The admission starts on the month of August after the intermediate results are declared. The college offers courses in Science, Arts and Commerce. I chose Arts and in Arts I chose Political Science because I was attracted towards this subject. I wanted to go deeper and wanted to know about the Indiaa's polity and the world's polity and how it evolved.
Faculty
Ther was around 150 lectures for the subject. The average age is 45 nad the poses PhD in their subjects. They have minimum of 15 years of experience. they have very good calrity of their subjects. the way tehr teach is commendable and it's really very easy to understand the topic.
