Remarks

College management is very helpful and most of the time it is the least of your concern as they are not that much involved in you. You would be more consumed by the professors and lecturers in college and exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course is of four and half years with internship of 1 years extra. There are four years, at the end of each year, professional exam is conducted on the basis of which you are promoted to next year. First, third and fourth years are of one year duration, while second year is of one and a half year duration. Total 19 subjects. Industrial visits are regularly organised in community medicine.

Placement Experience

4.5

You are free to chose any hospital of your interest for job after completing internship from the college. Internship duration like any other medical college is of 1 years with stipend.

College Events

3.5

Range of events are celebrated in our college like - Holi, Diwali, Navratri, Christmas, New Years, Eid, Fests, Doctor's day, teacher's day, world health day, medical conferences, etc. Most of them are at the college level itself with attendance of about 1000 students and teachers and other staffs and health workers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Additional fees are in the form of exam fees annually which can be upto 18000 per subject. Mode of payments accepted are RTGS, NEFT, Demand Drafts, Cash and online banking. There is no additional fees to secure admission in the college. Admission is solely on the basis of merit. The college provide complete transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i didn't opt for any scholarships or loans during my tenure. But there are people in my batch who have opted for loans from banks

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio here is almost 1:1 i.e almost equal number of boys and girls in every batch. Campus life is good here with many things to do apart from study. Annual fest is organised in the months of December and January comprising debate competition, health exhibition, sports, dance, singing, skits, literary events like quiz, poetry, parliamentary debate etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, rooms are given on sharing basis with two to three people in each room with attached seperate bathroom and toilets. They give you beds with mattress and table and chairs for each person along with your own seperate cupboard and book shelf

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful here and treat you like their brothers. They will help you throughout your course in different ways like marking important questions. Tips for Viva and practical examination and many more.

Admission

I wanted to be a doctor so i opted for this course, i appeared for NEET and then secured good marks on the basis of which this college was alloted to me. Then you have to come here for admission process which takes 1 day and you get your admission. It's a very smooth process.

Faculty

5

Faculty of college is brilliant. They have top notch teachers from well known college like AFMC, AIIMS, iIMS BHU, KMC MANIPAL, GRANT MEDICAL COLLEGE MUMBAI, and many more. Each department has atleast 5-7 professor, 1-2 associate professor, 2-5 tutors, 2-5 staffs and HOD. Many lecturers are renowned doctors from india woth labs established in the name of them in government colleges. Some have been awarded president medals. And some have vast experience in research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
