Physiotherapy college

My college has a very good infrastructure. Good teaching facility and service provided is very good. Sometimes there are bad times but still worth it. Sanitation is maintained very well. There are many staffs assigned to different duties.

The exam is conducted by the yenepoya university. It is 4 year course with 6 month internship. I after joining this course understood the value of physical health and role of exercise in our daily life. By the end of fourth year research will done by students regarding specific topics that will be provided. Postings (practical sessions ) will be assigned to students in groups for understanding the clinical conditions and to improve communication and interactive skills. Fourth year, students will be given patients to treat after the 3 hardworking years of studying. Viva,theory,practicals will be conducted in the college by the teachers. Campus placements are provided by the college for better opportunities. And outpostings are provided and there is visit to many other hospitals. I gained knowledge here and the value of physical health.

Different hospitals come to our college and skilled and hardworking students get golden opportunities. We can also provide our documents and get a job in any hospital with the physiotherapy service provided. The students will be asked anything related to physio and can be asked to demonstrate clinically during placement. We are prepared to face any challenges. We are prepared In that way.

Every year physiotherapy day will be conducted where cultural and non cultural events will be there. Students show case their talents. Games will be conducted (indoor and outdoor) for both boys and girls. Dance,songs,mime, skit, most of the cultural events will be there. The main event in the college is the renaissance where every college under yenepoya come and celebrate,show up their talents. There will be big crowd in the college. Programmes are conducted in the college YENdurance zone.

The fee per year is 60,000. The fee is paid through cheque or DD. University fees 75,000 has to be paid before joining. Minority students who cannot afford and backwards classes are given with concession and special concern. Fee must be paid in instalments. My fee structure is 30,000 as my father couldn't afford it.

Yes. Scholarship have been given by the college. For eligibility students must be having good scores and poor family background. Students who worth are given with scholarship.

Ratio to Male to female I almost same. And both the gender are given the same opportunity. There are high class labs in the college and that provide good knowledge to students. We are overwhelmed with the service provided. Many competitions are also held to make students more challenging and good.

Yes. There are 2 separate hostel for boys and girls. With good room facility and AC and non AC rooms. There is a big mess in the hostel for students to have their food.rooms are clean and washrooms are also clean. Good facility is provided by the college. There is a playground also.

Senior students are very helpful. After teachers they are the guide for us. They help us a lot during clinical postings and they encourage us in a good way. They also help us during exams. They gave us idea of the subject and teachers taught us.

I did not attend any medical entrance exam so I was sure that I will join other than MBBS and BDS.i tried in two colleges but due to high fee I was not able to do it. Later, I wrote my entrance test in yenepoya. And due to poor family background and good scores I got a merit seat there. The entrance test was in may and and admission continued then. My college started in july. Gods blessing is with me till now.

There are 2-3 lectures for every subject. The qualification is that they must have their master degree in physiotherapy related subject. Many lectures are very well experienced and their teaching skills are excellent. Lectures are all around 25 and above aged with better knowledge and communication skills (both clinical and non clinical).Many have their magical method of teaching and they are 'guardian angels'. They make us understand every way as possible. They give us clinical examples and make us communicate with many patients. That make us aware of many conditions. They also take us for outpostings where we come in contact with the community that makes us gain more knowledge. The are hardworking and got magical hands to treat patients.
