Nice experience, but placement wise depressing

Placement was real bad. But now the situation has changed a lot as far i have heard. But still i dont think i will join thiscollege again if given chamce as the management harrased our batch a lot.

Odisha-JEE. I wanted to do btech from the very beginning. You have to just appear the exam and with a little study u can crack the exam with god numbers.

1st, 2nd & 3rd sem will have same subjecrs for all the branches. Then from 4th sem onwards stream wise subjects will be there. And every stream student has to read one subject from other stream also.

Nothing was there in our college during that time. But now the situation has changed. No internship program was there for us. No company came to offer internship to our college. In odisha most colleges dont have this facility.

Placement opportunity was real horrible and it was also because of little recession in our time. And being anew college they were not able to arrange for good companies. 7-8 very small companies came and sone companies were demanding money also.

Annual function called indostav was held every year. Indotech was a technical function held eveey year. They are only within college not that big of a event. But still we enjoyed a lot and gained a lot of knowledge.

Fee structure was little expensive but through a lots of strike the fee was lessend. So it became feasible. We used to pay around 102000 for first 3yeaes and last year fee was 75000 all inclusive of hostel, transport and all.

No i dont have much of knowledge on that. I heard that college was providing some loan but not sure of the details.

Gender ratio was 25-75. But there was no discrimination. Ragging free. Politics was not at all involved. Hostel parties were arranged very often. Friendly campus it was.

Rooms were real nice being a new hostel. Big spacious room with attached bathrooms. Food was also good not extraordinary but it was good. Hostel fee was also included in college fee. Only we had to pay maximum 1500 per month for food depending on the number of days you ate at hostel.

Seniors were good interactive and helpful. Despite of fights between our bath and seniors we had a good rapport. All the seniors were helpful. They have helped many of us in gaining knowledge.

Exams were a lot pressure. We used to give 5 internal and 1 external eac semester. Labs were also every wrek for each subject. We used to had a hectic day.

Some faculty were well experienced but a lot of them are new ines. Still they manage to teach well as they were recently pass out of college. But most faculty were not able to cover all the topics in stipulated time.
