Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is well designed and the readings are compiled by using different books of various Indian authors. Examinations are held at the end of each semester and assignment are given regularly to the students. The course structure is designed in such a way that the students don't face difficulties in understanding.
Placement Experience
Placements are managed by a well-established Placement Cell, which is run by the students and the teachers.The Placement Cell guides the students on how to decide their future career paths by counseling, motivating and mentoring them. A number of MNC’s visit the campus and provide a variety of job positions. The overall placement rate ranges between 80-85%.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very flexible and the total fees 65,740 per year, the students generally don't face any difficulties in paying the fees, we can also apply for scholarships to finance our studies.
Campus Life
When it comes to cocurricular activities Raiganj University is great, we have a number of cultural events throughout the year where big stages are set up and we have a lot of fun. The college has a number of student clubs where students come together to host various shows throughout the year. There are a number of places to chill on campus where you can have lots of fun.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility at my college is fairly good, there is one hostel for girls and one for boys. All the basic amenities are provided at the hostel and the quality of food is also good. The hostel is located in the campus and we usually hang out there after college and have loads of fun.
Admission
I got admission into my college on the basis of the marks I scored in my 10+2 examinations, I always wanted to go in the field of Animal sciences to establish an elaborate career in it. Post selection I had to visit the campus for document verification and fees submission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very learned and experienced. The professors are very polite and understanding, teachers use a variety of innovative techniques to teach us and assign us projects on regular basis to ensure that the learning doesn't become monotonous.
