The course I chose - Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four year course. The course curriculum is good, but it is not up to date. It follows the AICTE syllabus. However, the computer laboratories were very good. With 90 new computers installed, learning programming languages became easier. The exams are well spanned out so that the routine does not get too tight.

The placement opportunities are not much. Being an engineering college set in Bihar, there are not many companies with job options. From the seniors' experience, the average salary of the ones getting placed is around 15,000 per month.

The good part about joining Nalanda College of Engineering has been it's fee structure. With just around 10,000 rupees per year, the fee structure has been feasible and easy to manage. Compared to other engineering colleges, Nalanda College of Engineering provides decent education at a reasonable fees.

Nalanda College of Engineering has internet connection throughout the campus. The laboratories are very good, having over 180 computers providing internet access and programming facilities. NCE has a dedicated Women's Cell comprising of Women Employees and Students for their safety and assistance. Our college also hosts an Annual Sports Meet for the students of all classes to participate and win.

The admission process was not complicated. The eligibility criteria is pretty simple - 10+2 from a CBSE recognised high school or its equivalent followed by NEET examination. Getting a decent score in the NEET exam meant my admission was made possible at the Nalanda College of Engineering.

The faculty at the Nalanda College of Engineering has been very supportive. They are very knowledgeable and always ready to help the students. Most of the teachers are qualified with M.Tech or PHD. Prof. Ashish Ranjan and Prof. Varun Kumar have been of great assistance.
