Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very much updated is on par with the requirements in today's world. Examination pattern is very relaxed and consists of internal exam 1 , internal exam 2 and semester exams.

Placement Experience

3

The placement and job opportunities are not satisfactory . Internships are provided only for certain fields and not all. There is a placement cell in the college and that is really helpful. Companies like Accenture, capgemini and axis bank visit the campus for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. The total fees amounts to about 5000 rupees for the first year. For the subsequent years the fees is around 3500 rupees. The first year fees consists of 500 rupees for correspondence education fund 300 rupees as library fee 200 rupees as enrollment fee 1000 as registration fee 3000 as tuition fee

Campus Life

4

The extracurricular activities are really good. Students are strictly warned against indulging in malpractices and discrimination in any form us not entertained by the college authorities. Besides the gender ratio is almost 1:1.

Admission

The university aims to bring fruits of education towards not so privileged sections of the society through correspondence education. Entrance exam is conducted by the name B.ed CET which is the common entrance test . Application is through offline mode.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the university are good at the content matter but are also really strict to ensure proper conduct and discipline. They are experts at the subject matter and have really good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
