Remarks

College is really nice. Faculties are very caring supportive. The disadvantage is this place of the college is congested I think. And also the university exams little confusing.the college was not providing in equipments like camera or laptops in the college we should buy that own. The college is best.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because was really nice and career building passionate profession. The exam structure and curriculum was good. One year is divided into semester in each semester we have an exam. after calculating the post semester exam marks the achieve total of mark percentage.

Placement Experience

There are many opportunities as a photographer.After completing this degree in photography.by the by many companies are only looking for a degree holder in photography. Iike flipkart, Amazon, pixel etc.

College Events

Onam, Karnataka Rajosthsavom,devali, freshers day, Animation day,holloveen day, Chirstmas,fashion festive,Teachers day, etc. are celebrated in our college. Which makes as a great relaxation in campus. We enjoyed a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college are not giving any loans or scholarships.we should find a loan or scholarship outside the college which is app for photography course. College is suffering many scholarships outside University which is held yearly buy top companies.

We have photography studio and also we have library for free meaning books which is helpful for developing our skills during our course period. And also we have a ground which is nice to play football and other games

The seniors are telling the college is really helping the children's to achieve their passionate profession. And they are also providing as to learn many things as a beginner in photography. Difficulties are very caring and supportive.

Admission

First they asked to submit photographs taken by me. After submitting my box they called to the college interview process. With which they are used many questions among photography and also why you are interested in photography photography. After accepting interview and the photographs they given a score of 78 percentage. Which is the qualifying mark percentage for admission

The faculties are wonderful and caring. They are provided permissions for celebrating all festivals from different states culture.They are very caring and support to students who are weak in their skills.

Campus Life @ Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The campus was too good in its environment.
The exposure was too good with good library facilities.
We can socialise with Pan Indian exposure

Dislikes

Hostel facilities was not well maintained
Hostel food was not that much good sometimes
College was situated in a rural place, it was so hard to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Dislikes

Fee is not worth to the college they are money minded
The behaviour of principal is not good towards students
80 persent over there are Malayalam students

Likes

The quality of teaching for my course - BA Economics (Hons) is exceptional. The professors give quality time with each student to ensure concepts are clear and go beyond the surface level teaching of all concepts.
Every student gets their own mentor, who is a professor within the University who will help you guide yourself through everything, ranging from academic difficulties to personal grievances. There are regular sessions scheduled with these mentors..
There is plenty of freedom in the university. Unlike other university's there is no strict dress code or unreasonable rules for the students to follow. The campus allows each indivitual to be true to themselves.

Dislikes

The campus is very far from the city, making it difficult to have any sort of weekend get aways to the city tiresome. There are very few places around the campus that will let you experience city life.
The university does not encourage competitive spirit festivals like youth festivals apart from sports. Hence narrowing down the avenues where students can get certificates for extra curriculars to add on to your CVs
Academic rigor can get too overwhelming sometimes and one may not get time to study for other parallel exams for masters like GMAT, CAT, GRE etc. Finding time for extra curriculars may also get difficult.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.

Review of ICAT College Bangalore

The eligibility of the course is to have 60% and above in your 10th and 12th. An aptitude test and interview were taken during the admission process. My year of admission was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so all the application form, aptitude test and interviews were online or call-based.
