Remarks

Overall the college campus and extracurricular activities are quite good and also the faculties are also good but a negative is that the faculties are constantly changing. And also as an engineering college, there isn't any Union or election on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is very vast and tiring with 4 months of classes of each sem and University examination coming after it and also in between, there are internal exams so it's quite hard. This will continue for the four years within the 8 semesters.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement cell is present in the college it is doing effective work and last year around 15 students got placed in the campus interview. And also internships and workshops are conducted in the college regularly for the students to improve their skills.

College Events

3.5

Every year tech fest will be conducted with so many events students participate in different events created by themselves and with the help of teachers and all the main festivals such as Onam, Christmas, and Eid ul fithar are celebrated.

Fees and Financial Aid

A merit scholarship is there for the first-year students who have above 80 percent marks in the plus two examinations. A bank loan facility is available for students who couldn't afford it in the first place.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are indeed helpful one of our former students who work in the Ford has given a vehicle for the mechanical students for their studies, and those who are working will update us on any job openings in their firms.

Admission

Just come to the college with a 12 mark list you must have more than 50% aggregate in physics, maths, and chemistry and qualified for any engineering entrance or you could also take the NRI quota if you didn't attend the entrance examination.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are indeed good so they would help in the studies in every way they could. They would conduct night classes if necessary. But the problem is that the faculties are now constantly changing for some or other reasons.

From 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements. I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. The average package offered is 100000-200000 per year and more than 10 companies visit per year. About 80 percentage of students are getting placed though campus placement. My plans after getting the degree is to find a job outside of india if i can

Course Curriculum Overview:

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.
